Welcome,
Beautiful heart.
Today's meditation and intention is set around all things learning how to stop fighting yourself.
This will be a 10-minute guided meditation for self-compassion,
Self-acceptance,
And grounding into an inner peace inside.
Let us begin.
Finding a comfortable position and closing your beautiful eyes.
And we'll take our first mindful slow breath in through the nose together,
Breathing in.
And now.
Knowing again,
Breathing in.
And.
.
.
Here in this space today,
We will cultivate the consciousness.
Of simply noticing what is here.
Perhaps you have been fighting yourself lately.
Perhaps you have been fighting your emotions,
Your thoughts,
Your mistakes,
Your shoulds,
Your coulds.
And how you've shown up in your life.
Fighting the version of yourself you wish you weren't.
And all of this can be exhausting.
So here with me holding you,
Here with me loving on you,
There is no need to fix.
Purely an invitation to put down your weapon.
Breathing in.
And.
.
.
Continuing to breathe at your own pace,
Slowly in through the nose,
Extra slow out through the mouth.
And imagining with each exhale.
Lowering.
A Y.
Not giving up on yourself,
But rather giving up on the struggle against yourself.
Another breath.
Another white flag.
Releasing the need to argue with this moment.
Releasing the need to be different right now.
And giving your body permission to soften your shoulders,
Your chest.
Your lower back,
Your hips.
Your belly.
Breathing into this space.
Seeing yourself now.
In a beautiful.
School setting.
Space of teaching and education and safety and support.
In this school.
Sitting,
You see yourself sitting beside.
Heart of yourself that has been struggling.
This path.
Feels anxious.
Perhaps this part feels ashamed,
Sad,
Tired,
Overwhelmed.
And with so much compassion in your heart and loving acceptance.
You do not need to change this place.
Simply imagine,
Noticing and moving closer.
To this heavy part of you.
Offering it life.
Offering it warmth.
Offering it deeply.
Repeating after me,
I see you.
I.
And listening.
You do not have to carry this alone.
And with me breathing into this space.
And sitting here for a few moments.
Continuing to breathe compassion.
Into these fighting places that hurt.
Is fighting places that feel tender.
With every breath feel.
The warming love.
The warming light start to expand and open these places that are holding.
As you inhale spaciousness and exhale openness,
Bring to mind.
One thing that you have been fighting,
One thing that this part of you has been holding.
Whether this is a feeling,
A mistake,
A guilt,
A shame,
A regret.
A fear.
As we breathe out.
Setting the intention for it to release.
Breathing in,
And out releasing.
Breathing in.
And out,
Releasing.
Reminding you beautiful heart.
That you are the space that holds.
You are the love that holds,
You are the presence and the awareness that holds all of this.
So as we continue to observe,
To release,
To love Remember your power.
Gives each of these parts of you what they are looking for.
They feel they are fighting for.
What they feel that they are holding so tightly on for.
Breathing in again.
And out,
Releasing.
Sitting here.
For a few more moments.
As I share a final prayer and words of loving affirmation.
A reminder that you're in a peace,
You're in a space of ease.
Gentleness is not the absence of difficult thoughts or emotions.
It often arises in the moment you stop treating yourself as the enemy.
Do not need to win a battle against yourself.
You do not need to become someone else before you deserve gentleness.
So with so much softness,
Ease.
When you're ready,
You can come back into your body,
Wiggling your toes and your fingers,
And with an intention of so much self-compassion.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
And step back out into your external reality from this new place.
Of compassion,
Of acceptance.
And dropping.
