Welcome beautiful being back to another guided meditation.
Today's intention is reclaiming your body as your own.
A deep 20 minute experience to empower sovereignty to help you release shame and reconnect to inner safety.
Let us drop in.
Closing your beautiful eyes and taking our first mindful breath in through the nose and slowly out through the mouth.
Good and let's do one more of these into the nose and out through your mouth.
If you're not in a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down,
Take this moment to get even one percent more comfortable,
More connected.
Connected,
Amazing,
Powerful,
Body drop into even more relaxation,
Even more steadiness.
Knowing that today here with me as you begin to feel my loving presence with you,
There is nothing to force or perform or pretend.
The space is here to come back to yourself.
So breathing in to this truth and out through your mouth.
As we start to bring awareness to our bodies,
We will share that often,
Actually in childhood,
Our sense of inner sovereignty,
Our sense of safety,
Our sense of inner exploration across all aspects is where we first get disconnected from our vessel,
From our physical being.
So as you begin to ground more deeply into your body here with me,
I ask that you hold this little girl or this little boy as we go deeper into your body.
This little boy and little girl who has so much to share with you,
Has so much to release and let go of.
So as you notice the weight of your body,
Feeling the support beneath you,
Knowing in this moment you are safe here.
In this moment right now,
It is safe for you to feel,
Even if that feeling is just a little bit.
So with me,
Repeat,
I am here.
This is my beautiful body.
It is safe for me to love it.
And taking one big,
Deep breath here with me and out through the mouth.
So continuing from this place,
To notice what specifically here right now that your body has been carrying.
Areas of guardedness,
Areas of numbness,
Areas of tension,
Tightness,
And distance.
Let your loving awareness move slowly through your body.
And as you do,
As you glide,
Give your body scan,
Observe the places that feel extra charged.
Heaviness in your belly,
Sensitivity in your throat or your chest,
Feeling of withdrawing or shutting down in your heart,
Whatever it is.
You do not need to understand.
All that is needed is with me,
Acknowledging that your body has been carrying more than just you.
Your body has taken on for a long time a lot of the external world,
Your family,
Your friends,
Your intimate partners.
So here we get to breathe and start to create space.
Breathing in and out,
Expanding.
We cannot claim and remember a body that is ours to begin with if we first do not release external ownership.
So once more,
Feeling the safety of my heart,
Holding you,
Of my energy,
Holding you.
Notice now where your body has been,
Where it has been shaped by things outside of you.
Expectations and stories about how you should look,
How you should behave,
How you should be in this world.
Messages you have absorbed either subtly or directly.
Once more from people,
Friends,
Family members,
Partners,
Guests,
From culture,
From past experiences,
Either childhood or later.
Give yourself permission here just for a moment to feel the weight of these,
Not to re-experience or to stay,
But to see very clearly that none of this,
That none of this was ever yours to carry.
Breathing slowly into this truth,
Going again,
Knowing how safe it is to let go,
Breathing in and out,
Releasing.
Feeling and imagining these elements,
These expectations,
These experiences,
Loosening their grip.
Like something unhooking from your body,
Your vessel.
Falling away and affirming with me,
Either silently or out loud,
This is not mine.
This is not mine.
I release what was placed on me.
I release what was placed on me.
I return my body to myself.
Turn my body to myself.
And once more,
Breathing in to this space,
And out,
Letting each layer drop,
Letting each tension drop.
As we soften,
As we bring our awareness to any shame that is around these releases,
Any shame in the body that is connected to these experiences.
To either childhood or later,
Any shame that is still holding in your chest,
Your stomach,
Your throat,
Your heart,
And holding it,
Not to perpetuate or to continue,
But holding it,
Knowing that you can love and release.
You can love and release.
You do not need to hide anymore,
You are allowed to be here in your fullest expression,
Feeling this shame.
Feeling this shame start to release even slightly with the space you create.
And in this space,
We breathe in once more,
Breathing in,
And out,
Letting go.
One more time,
Breathing in,
As you expand now your awareness to your whole body,
From your head down to your chest,
Your stomach,
Your waist,
Your head,
Your legs,
Your feet,
We reclaim this beautiful vessel,
This beautiful body as your own,
Fully as your own.
Not for others to define,
Not for others to control,
Not for others to judge or decide what to do.
As yours,
As fully and deeply yours.
Letting yourself accept and feel this,
Not just mentally,
But physically as you are stepping back into yourself.
Feeling these words and intention behind them as you continue to own yourself.
This is your body.
This is your body.
You belong here.
Belong here.
You choose to live fully in this body.
You choose to live fully in this body.
And letting these words,
Letting these intentions be received by your body,
Letting them land,
Letting a newfound sense of trust,
A newfound sense of love and devotion for this body that is yours,
For this vessel that is sovereign,
For this human vehicle that is safe and releases shame as you breathe into this space and out expanding.
Finishing here with our final moments of understanding that you are powerful,
You have so much love in your heart,
Not just to give the outside world,
To give the parts of you that feel disconnected,
That feel like they do not belong,
That they are not safe,
Not empowered and in fear.
So as we close,
Choose to place one final intention on your heart.
For the next time any of these emotions,
Any of the younger parts of you feel unsafe,
Feel disconnected,
Feel disempowered,
You will show up with this love,
You will show up with this presence.
To remind them of what is true.
Breathing this in.
Slowly returning to this moment in the room that you're in,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Connecting to the space around you.
And when you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes,
Returning home,
Returning back to this sovereign,
Safe,
Empowered self.
