Welcome beautiful hearts back to another journey and guided meditation for deep sleep rejuvenation.
Today's sleep intention is centered around insomnia,
Removing the pressure to sleep when we can't sleep.
Today's journey will be a guided experience with my voice and my vibration followed by an all-night soundscape to hold you,
To soothe you,
To remind you of just how much ability and potential you have to let go into the sleep realm.
So we'll begin by gently getting comfortable,
Closing your eyes if they're not closed already.
And I will start with a message from my heart to yours reminding you that if you cannot sleep,
This isn't because there is something wrong with you.
Insomnia is not a failure.
Insomnia is not your body betraying you.
Insomnia is often a nervous system that hasn't yet felt safe enough to fully rest.
And tonight here with me,
Here with my heart,
Not trying to make sleep happen.
We're simply creating the conditions where sleep can arrive on its own.
So let us breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Going again even more softer,
Breathing in and out through the mouth,
Releasing more.
Notice,
Beautiful heart,
If there's any part of you that feels frustrated,
Worried or watching the clock,
That part is welcome here too.
You do not need to push any of these thoughts,
These beliefs,
These patterns in the mind away.
You simply and silently are invited to say to yourself,
I don't need to sleep right now.
I,
Removing any pressure,
Any expectation you have on yourself.
And as this pressure softens,
We can see that this is what often keeps the system awake.
This is what often keeps us in the spirals of doubt and concern around not being able to do it right.
So within this space between pressure and softness,
Let us take another deep breath in through our nose and letting go out through the mouth.
Bringing our beautiful awareness to where our body meets the bed,
Noticing the different contact points,
The weight,
The support beneath you.
And releasing any need to relax the body,
Releasing any need to be something that you're not and just allowing yourself to be exactly as you are,
Allowing your body to be exactly as it is.
Even if there is tension,
Even if there is restlessness,
Letting things be is often what allows them to soften.
It's often what allows them to finally let go and drop in.
If your mind,
Your beautiful mind,
Is active tonight,
That too is okay.
We are not here to try to stop thinking.
Instead,
I invite you,
Beautiful heart,
To imagine your thoughts like words written on water.
They appear and naturally fade.
You do not need to follow them.
You do not need to solve anything tonight.
Nothing needs to be figured out in the darkness of your sleep scape.
And we can continue to drop deeper and deeper,
Focusing all of our attention on our breath as it slowly goes in and slowly goes out,
Not changing it and continuing to notice it,
Feeling the air enter your nose and feeling it leave the body with each exhale,
Noticing how your nervous system receives this message through your breath,
Through your awareness,
That it is okay to stand down now.
It is okay to release the holding.
It is okay to release the tension.
Your body knows how to sleep and it hasn't forgotten.
It simply needs your beautiful and your mindful reassurance.
For many people with insomnia,
There's a quiet fear that lives underneath the inability to sleep,
The can't sleep sensation.
And that fear is,
What if I don't sleep again?
What if,
Once again,
I cannot get the sleep I know I need?
If that fear is here,
Place a gentle hand over your heart,
Over your belly,
And with me say inwardly,
Even if I stay awake,
I am safe.
Even if rest without sleep occurs,
I am still resting.
This is important because when we create space for the fear that holds us to soften,
Sleep often follows.
So I hold you beautiful heart with me to soften that fear,
To know that you are so capable to release it,
To let it go.
And continuing to use your imagination and visualization to see yourself,
Not just letting that fear go,
But you're floating.
Floating outward from your bed,
From your heaviness.
Not trying to go anywhere specifically,
But floating out between wakefulness and sleep.
The soft edge where effort dissolves and sleep can come with grace,
With ease.
And if it's yet to arrive,
You are still deeply supported.
You are still safe.
Either way,
Your system here with me for the night ahead is still healing.
Breathing this in and breathing out reassurance.
In a moment,
Beautiful heart,
My voice will gently fade and you'll be carried by eight hours of soothing sound frequency and vibration mixed with my heart intention,
My heart energy,
My heart vibration.
This frequency and energy combined with the sounds that you hear are designed to calm your nervous system,
Reduce your nighttime alertness,
And support the deep rest and natural cycles that you deserve to drop into.
You don't need to force the listening.
All you need to do is what you already are,
Be here with me.
And know that my presence with yours will hold you through the night.
You are not broken,
You're not behind,
Your body is not failing you.
It is learning to feel safe again.
And you can let go now.
My voice will fade,
The sound will remain,
Holding you through the night into the rest that you are allowed to experience.
