Welcome,
Beautiful one.
My name is Taylor and I'll be your guide.
I am an herbalist who works with women in perimenopause.
I am a plant psychic and I am so excited to welcome you into this meditation.
So find a comfortable seat.
Of course,
Maybe you're laying down or wherever you are,
This is your time to soften,
To rest,
And to really return to your beautiful self.
So in your position,
Whatever you're in,
Take a moment and see if you can find yourself maybe 5% more comfort.
And allow your hands to rest loosely.
A moment to really unclench that beautiful jaw of yours.
Allow your shoulders to just melt and relax.
And now take a really slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Inhale.
Slow exhale out.
Let's do one more.
Breathe in deeply,
Letting your belly rise.
Inhale.
And really slowly exhale,
Releasing any tension.
Let's do one more just for good measure.
Inhale really,
Really deep,
Deep into that belly.
And the slowest exhale you can do.
And as you settle into your rhythm of breath,
Begin to just notice the ground beneath you,
The earth,
The maw.
Imagining her rising up to hold you.
To take the weight off your earthly body and the weight off of your mind as well.
And just know there is nothing you need to do right in this exact moment except for be.
Boy,
Perimenopause can really stir change in your physical body,
In your mood,
In your energy.
And yet beneath it all,
Your roots remain strong.
You are connected to that same deep intelligence that turns the seasons and renews the forest.
Incredible.
With each inhale,
Breathe in stability.
With each exhale,
Let go of tension.
Feel your breath smoothing the edges of stress.
Kind of like waves washing over stones.
Now begin to bring your attention to your beautiful heart space.
Yes,
Yes.
You can place a hand over your heart if that feels right to you.
And just feel and notice the warmth of your own time,
Your own presence,
Your own self.
You are safe here.
All of you are safe here.
You are seen.
You are so loved.
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am allowed to rest.
I am allowed to change.
I am supported by the earth beneath me.
I am supported by the earth beneath me.
And allow these words to become just a gentle hum throughout your body.
Notice how your heart begins to open,
Not with effort,
But with trust.
Now begin to imagine roots extending from your body into the earth,
Our Ma.
You notice your roots reaching through the soil and the stone,
Down into the deep,
Cool,
Peaceful stillness.
Here there is no rush in the world.
In this space,
You remember that everything has its season.
As you breathe,
Draw up and call up the calm and the wisdom,
The peace and stillness of the earth through those roots you grew.
Let it rise into your legs,
Your feet,
All the way up to your hips,
Your belly softening your womb space.
Allow that earth energy to move into your heart,
Your throat,
Your mind.
Each breath you take carries renewal.
And each exhale allows release.
And stay with this feeling for a few moments.
Breathing,
Exchanging,
Deeply rooted,
Filling up with stillness and peace.
Begin to so gently and gracefully with your own self.
Bring awareness back into your present space.
Maybe bringing in some micro movements into those fingers and toes by wiggling them.
Perhaps you do a good morning stretch,
Reaching your arms overhead or an amazing roll of your head from side to side.
Just coming back into your body.
Let's take one last deep nourishing breath in through your nose.
And as you begin to blink open your eyes,
Just make a note to carry this grounded calm with you into the rest of your day.
Remembering you are resilient.
Oh,
You're so resilient.
You are transforming.
And the earth walks with you every step of the way.
