Welcome,

Wild one.

Allow yourself to settle into your space.

My name is Taylor Short with Harmonious Return,

And this is your summer solstice guided meditation.

Finding yourself in a comfortable seat or lying down.

When you're ready,

Beginning to close down your eyes or a soft gaze,

Whatever works best for you right now.

And we'll just start by taking a really deep breath in through your nose,

And a slow exhale out your mouth.

Again,

Inhaling and exhaling,

And slow exhale out.

And with each breath,

Just feel yourself arriving into your space,

But not just this moment.

But feel yourself really arriving in the place that you are in right now,

The physical place.

The place beyond the walls,

If you're inside,

The land beneath you.

Arriving to the breath of the trees around you,

The sky above you,

And the season of summer fullness that now surrounds you.

And start to really feel your body,

That beautiful,

Amazing,

Fantastic body of yours,

As part of the beautiful,

Amazing,

And fantastic earth,

The Ma.

Noticing the weight of your bones,

The breath moving through your lungs like the wind flowing through branches.

Can you feel your heartbeat and noticing the steady,

Rhythmic,

Like the drum of hooves on soil or waves against the shore?

And start to imagine roots growing down from your body into the earth,

Into the Ma.

She receives them with joy,

And allow them to spread gently into the soil,

And as that happens,

You start to soften as they anchor you,

And connect you,

And hold you steady.

There's nothing to do here,

There's nothing to worry about,

The only thing you have to do is be.

You belong here.

You are part of this natural,

Living,

Breathing world.

So,

As we tap into this energy of the summer solstice,

Knowing it's the longest day of the year,

Some will call it the beginning of summer,

The start of a new season,

And outside the sun has reached its peak in the sky.

The land is alive with color,

Scents,

And song.

Bees are humming,

Flowers are stretching wide,

And rivers are flowing.

The earth is offering her abundance,

And you,

Just like the plants and the trees,

Are now invited to do the same.

To come into connection with the season,

And the energy of the fullness of summer.

Connecting to this energy to help you stand tall,

To fully blossom,

And to be seen.

So,

Take a moment to really pause here,

And feel that solar energy,

That radiant,

Golden,

Life-giving light.

Let it touch your skin.

Let it sink further into your chest,

Into your heart,

And allow it to stir something very ancient and wild within you.

You see,

You are a part of the turning wheel of seed,

Bloom,

Fruit,

And rest.

And right now,

You are in the season of fall bloom.

So,

Begin to imagine yourself in a wild meadow filled with wildflowers.

The sun is high in the sky.

Grasses are waving and dancing in the breeze.

And you hear birds chirping,

Insects buzzing,

And the distant rustle of leaves.

You look down and realize you're barefoot on the earth.

You're rooted.

You're grounded.

And you just have this incredible sense of peace within you,

Knowing that right in this moment,

There's nothing to fix,

Nothing to do,

Nothing to chase.

There's still a sense of peace,

Aliveness,

Warmth,

And presence.

As you look around this meadow,

Start to notice what within you has begun blooming.

What has been quietly growing over the last few months and is now beginning to show its petals?

Pause here.

Really notice,

Feel what's blossoming in your life.

Now,

Ask yourself gently,

What is it time to honor in my life?

What is it time to honor in my life?

And ask yourself,

What gifts have taken root within you?

What gifts have taken root within me?

And as you're noticing,

Just breathe with that awareness of what's arising or not.

Allow it to rise like the summer heat off of the earth.

Allow it to fill you with deep,

Deep gratitude.

Now,

Let's switch to where we want to be this season.

Asking yourself,

Where do I choose to nourish myself throughout this season?

Where do I choose to nourish myself throughout this season?

And asking yourself,

What do I want to keep tending this season?

What do I want to keep tending this season?

And lastly,

Asking yourself,

What is it time to let go of this season?

What is it time to let go of this season?

There's no rush.

Just allowing the answers come to you like whispers through the leaves.

And before we begin our journey back,

May we take a moment to show gratitude for the wisdom and clarity you've received in the meadow.

The earth that held you in this meditation.

The meadow you were in.

May you offer gratitude in whatever way feels good for you right now.

And we'll begin to bring your awareness back to your physical body.

Bringing your awareness back to the earth,

The ma beneath you.

Back to your breath,

Which connects you to every tree and every wild thing.

And allow your inner sun to glow brightly within your belly.

And let your heart open and blossom like a beautiful flower.

And let your spirit remember you are nature.

Remembering itself.

You are not separate.

You are kin.

Breathing in,

Repeating to yourself,

I am part of the earth's rhythm.

Breathing out,

I honor the light within.

And around me.

We'll do those two more times.

Breathing in,

I am part of the earth's rhythm.

Breathing out,

I honor the light within and around me.

Last one.

You've got this.

Breathe in,

I am part of the earth's rhythm.

Yes.

Breathing out,

I honor the light within and around me.

And so slowly,

When you're ready or not,

Begin to return to that place you're in right now.

And beginning to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

An awesome good morning stretch if that feels good.

And as you slowly,

Slowly,

Slowly blink open your eyes,

Try to carry this connection with you.

This connection to the natural world,

To the seasons that are happening outside of your four walls.

Walk through the world this way,

Knowing that you are that.

And I'll leave you with this.

May the solstice light bless your path.

May the earth hold you.

And may your life bloom wildly in your own time,

In your very own way.

Blessings.
