Find a comfortable seat and begin to close down your eyes if you are in a space where you are able to.
We'll spend just a few minutes here helping you on a little reset.
What we'll be doing really is such a powerful tool of practicing connecting with your breath intentionally.
So if you can and if you want to,
Place your left hand over your heart space and your right hand over your lower belly.
And I'll explain what we're going to be doing for a few minutes before we jump into this.
It's a practice of belly breath.
So what you'll be doing is as you breathe in,
Your right hand is the one that's going to be moving up and down with your breath and then your left hand that's over your chest is going to be staying essentially in the same place.
We are born breathing through our belly and in that sense when we are breathing through our belly we are relaxed.
And somewhere along the way as we get older and the stresses of the world begin to accumulate,
We begin to breathe shallow from our chest.
So this is just coming back to remembering of how we were born to breathe.
So when you're ready we'll begin.
Breathe in and let your right hand rise and exhale slowly let it fall.
Good again.
Inhale right hand raises and falls.
Inhale into your belly and exhale belly falls.
Let's do that two more time.
Inhale and exhale.
Big inhale here deep into your belly.
Slow exhale out and just return to normal breathing.
Just notice the effects.
Start another round of that when you're ready.
Inhale deep into your belly right hand rises.
Slow long exhale out.
Hand falls.
Let's try this one even slower.
Slow deep inhale.
Really slow exhale out.
Let's do it slowly like that again.
Inhale and slow long exhale out through your mouth.
Two more just at that pace.
Inhale slow and exhale out.
Last one.
Make this your deepest slowest breath yet.
Inhale fill up and exhale out slowly.
Bring your hands to your lap breathing normally.
Just notice the effect on your body and your mind knowing that you can come back to your breath at any time.
This is your practice.
Reset.
