This heartfelt and compassionate meditation,

Thankful moments,

A happiness boost,

Is a simple meditation designed to help you cultivate contentment.

Make this practice a part of your daily routine to enhance your overall well-being and emotional resilience.

Settle in,

Finding a quiet and comfortable space where you can sit or lie.

Allow your body to feel relaxed.

Closing your eyes,

Take a few slow rhythmic breaths,

Allowing your body and mind to settle into stillness.

Focus on the breath,

Bringing your attention to feeling the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each inhalation and exhalation,

Allowing your breath to become smooth and even.

Feel its rhythm and use this as an anchor for your awareness.

Visualize a warm glowing light.

Feel it at the center of your heart.

Imagine this light represents love,

Compassion and joy and with each breath visualize the light expanding and filling your entire being,

Enveloping you in warmth and comfort.

Reflecting on cherished memories,

Begin to recall memories from your life,

Moments of happiness,

Joy and love.

And as you reflect on each memory,

Allow the warmth and gratitude to fill your heart,

Deepening your connection to these moments.

Stay here for a few moments with this part of the practice.

Now think about your accomplishments and milestones throughout your life.

Recognize your strengths,

Resilience and wisdom gained over the years and allow yourself to feel a sense of pride and gratitude for the person you have become and the experiences that have shaped you.

Bring your focus back to your breath and the present moment.

Embrace the beauty and joy that exists within you right now,

Acknowledging that each breath is a gift and an opportunity to cultivate happiness and contentment.

Now let's send some loving kindness to yourself and others.

Silently repeat the following phrases,

Directing them first towards yourself and then extending them to friends,

Family and the world.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be safe.

And may I be at ease.

May all beings be happy.

May all beings be healthy.

May all beings be safe.

And may all beings be at ease.

Take a few more deep,

Rhythmic,

Nourishing breaths,

Allowing the feelings of gratitude,

Love and joy settle within your heart.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing your awareness back to your body.

When you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes and carry this sense of happiness and contentment with you throughout your day.

Make this practice a part of your daily routine to enhance your overall well-being and emotional resilience.

Namaste.
