Transcript

Welcome to this three minute breathing space meditation.

Start by focusing on your breath.

Wherever you are,

Wherever you're listening to this,

Just focus in on your breath.

Settle into a nice breathing pattern,

Something that feels just right for you.

Allow yourself to just breathe.

As you do so,

Notice any sensations in your body.

Any tightness,

Any tingling.

Just allow them to be and notice how they relax and how they let go as you focus on them.

Just breathing into them,

Allowing them to just be.

Not forcing them,

Just allowing them to be.

Now place your attention on your thoughts.

Notice the thoughts that have been surrounding your head.

Notice the thoughts that you've carried with you throughout the day.

Not engaging with them,

Just noticing them.

Like an interested passerby or a cloud floating overhead.

Notice how you don't have to connect with them,

You can just allow them to be.

As you allow them to be,

They drift away.

They have no power over you.

They are just thoughts.

And thoughts are not things until we allow ourselves to connect with them.

So allow now for them to pass by.

Just pass on through.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Shift your focus to your emotions.

The emotions that have been with you throughout the day,

Up until this point.

Notice them,

But again don't engage with them.

Just be an observer to your emotions in this moment and allow those emotions to be.

And notice how they just subside as you just allow them to be.

And in this moment they can just be,

As you can just be.

As you breathe deeply and allow yourself to relax.

And allow yourself to carry on with the rest of your day.

Have a great day.

Thank you for helping me find my rythem of breath. In a personal crisis and found I was holding my breath and feeling stressed. This helped tremendously.
