Welcome.
Let's begin by taking a moment to settle in.
Find a posture that feels both supported and relaxed.
Let your shoulders soften and your hands come to rest.
You may gently close your eyes or let your gaze drift downward.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in and release it.
One more time,
Inhale and exhale fully.
Now let your breath return to its natural rhythm.
Notice how the body feels.
Let this be a space of comfort,
Of gentleness,
Of warmth.
Now bring your attention to the area around your heart.
Without forcing anything,
Gently rest your awareness there.
You might place a hand over the heart or chest as a simple act of care.
With each breath,
Imagine that warmth is building within you,
A quiet glow at the center of your chest,
Like the steady warmth of a small flame or the soft light of sunrise.
Let that warmth expand just a little,
Filling your chest,
Your ribcage,
Your whole upper body.
You don't have to try or force it,
Just allow it.
You might silently say,
May I feel safe?
May I feel cared for?
May I feel warmth and ease?
Notice how your body responds,
Maybe with softening,
Maybe with stillness.
There's no right way to feel,
Just be with what's here.
Now imagine this warmth extending through your whole body,
Flowing through the arms,
Down into the belly and legs,
Even into the fingers and toes,
A steady,
Comforting presence from the inside out.
You might say to yourself something like,
I am held in this warmth.
This warmth is always available within me.
Let go of the words now,
Just rest in the feeling of inner warmth,
Inner kindness.
Let it carry you and hold you and comfort you.
Now slowly bring your attention back to your surroundings.
Notice the weight of your body,
The sounds around you,
The rhythm of your breath.
Take one final deep breath in and gently exhale.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes or lift your gaze.
Move gently into your day,
Carrying this quiet warmth you've cultivated.
Thank you so much for your practice.
