Welcome.

This short practice is a gentle invitation to pause,

To interrupt the momentum of the day and reconnect with stillness inside.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed,

Overstimulated,

Or simply in need of a reset,

This space is for you.

Let's begin by simply arriving.

There's nowhere you need to be right now except here.

Let the body settle.

Let the breath soften.

Let the nervous system begin to exhale.

You might close your eyes or soften your gaze.

You might bring both feet flat to the ground,

Resting your hands gently in your lap.

And,

Without changing anything,

Just notice what it feels like to be in this moment.

Notice your breath as it moves through the body.

No need to control it.

Just feel it.

Inhale.

Let the breath show you the way back to now.

If your mind is busy,

That's okay.

Each time you notice it drifting,

You're already back.

You don't need to judge or fix.

Just return gently to the breath,

To the body,

To the moment.

Take a moment now to scan gently through your body.

Where is there tension?

Where is there space?

You don't need to change anything.

Just notice.

Bring a sense of kindness to whatever you find.

And now ask yourself,

What do I need right now?

Not tomorrow.

Not this evening.

But right now.

A break.

A bit more kindness.

Let that question rest in you.

Let the answer be simple.

Let it rise and fall with the breath.

Even a moment of stillness can change the shape of the day.

Even a short pause can offer something essential.

Clarity.

Calm.

Space.

Let's take one more deep breath together.

In through the nose.

And out through the mouth.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes or lift your gaze.

As you return to your day,

Know that you can pause at any time.

You can come back to the breath,

Back to the body,

Back to this quiet space within.

You've just practiced taking a break on purpose.

And that's a powerful thing.
