On awakening,
Sometimes we think about the next 24 hours ahead and just want to go back to bed.
Well maybe you pushed on and you pushed on and got out the door.
Maybe you pushed on so hard that you forgot to be a little kinder to yourself.
It's so important to take that pause.
If we don't take that pause for ourself,
Well,
The day's just going to continue on this cycle of being pushy,
Being resentful,
Being kind of crabby.
So let's start our day over again.
And if you can find a comfortable space,
Position yourself really comfortable.
And even go lie down if you want.
This is no particular thing.
We're just going to breathe a little.
No pranayama.
Just breathing in and letting go.
Breathing in at your own pace and letting go.
Don't worry about if you're doing it right or not.
We worry too much about silly things.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Feel your face relaxing,
Your eyes softening with every breath.
As you breathe out,
Let your jaw relax.
Your throat,
Your shoulders,
Your arms.
Let it all relax as you breathe in possibility and let go of any negativity.
Let it wash down over you through your body,
Through your hips,
Your legs,
Your calves.
Your ankles into your feet,
Letting it all go down into the floor,
Into that vast gravitational pull that keeps us here.
Breathing in again,
Feeling the light coming into us.
Feeling our body with beautiful possibility as we let go of judgment,
Negativity.
Anything that doesn't serve us,
Let it go.
Breathing in love.
Let it fill your body as you breathe out fear.
Breathe in beauty.
Let go of any toxins.
Breathe in light.
Let it fill your body and let yourself lie in this peace or sit in this peace as you let the music take you a little deeper.
As we breathe in and out and let go,
We're reminded of the We can come back here anytime we want.
Breathing in,
Feeling the air in our skin.
As we rub our fingers,
Feel our toes,
Feel ourself coming back to this safe space and feeling good because we took a moment for ourselves,
A moment to reset,
A moment to let go and be connected to something higher,
Something lighter than our thoughts.
Coming back,
Feel yourself in this comfortable,
Safe space and know you can do a reset any time of day.
Namaste.
