Welcome in this peaceful space.
For the next 5 minutes you don't need to figure anything out.
You don't need to organize your thoughts or solve whatever is on your mind.
Just take these few minutes to come back to your breath.
And through that come back to that balance within.
Making yourself comfortable in a seated position wherever you are.
Lengthening your spine.
You can also close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Let your shoulders relax a little.
Let your jaw soften,
Maybe even taking a big yawn to stretch your jaw to move it a little bit.
And just simply notice that you are here.
Notice your breath exactly as it is.
Don't try to change it yet,
Just feel every inhale arriving.
And every exhale leaving your body.
That natural,
Ever-present flow of breath.
Your mind may still be busy.
And that's okay.
You don't have to make your mind totally quiet.
But each time you notice you have wandered into a thought,
Into more and more thoughts,
Simply come back to that feeling of breathing.
Just noticing that simple act of inhaling and exhaling.
And exhaling.
And now,
Very gently,
Allow your exhale to become just a little longer than your inhale.
Not forcing it.
But perhaps we can breathe in for the count of 4 and out for the count of 6.
So slowly exhale to leave your lungs empty.
Inhale for 1,
2,
3,
4 Exhale 1 2 3 4 5 6 Inhale 2 3 4 Exhale 2 3 4 5 6 Just continue at your own pace.
Let your breath be soft.
Let the exhale be unhurried,
No pressure,
No tension.
As you breathe out,
You're giving your mind a little bit less to carry.
You don't have to follow and carry every thought or answer every question.
You can just simply notice that there is some thoughts coming and going but I am returning to my breath.
Feel yourself settling deeper and deeper into this present moment.
Noticing your body becoming a bit heavier,
Your face relaxing more and your body just moving with this breath.
And for the last 3 breaths we're going to exhale longer through the mouth to just totally let go and open.
Inhale slowly.
And exhale.
Sight out,
Release.
Inhale again.
Exhale.
Just totally soften and one more full long breath in and a full breath out.
You are free.
You are supported.
You can always,
Always come back to the space.
When you're ready,
Start feeling your body again,
Moving your toes,
Your fingers with that new,
Fresh,
Revitalized energy.
Maybe stretching your arms over your head on the next inhale and on the exhale,
Bringing hands back to your heart.
Thank you so much for connecting in this practice.
May you have a lovely rest of your day.
Namaste.
