Hello beautiful souls,
My name is Generos Genelli for those that do not know me.
I am your meditation and mindfulness coach and I am calming the labyrinth of hell.
That's what I do.
I help you guys to calm the labyrinth of your lives,
The maze of your lives.
Life is nothing more than a huge maze that we are all just trying to find our way through.
In this guided meditation,
You are going to visualize yourself as a mountain,
Standing tall,
Standing strong in all of the storms,
In all of the rain,
In all of the sunshine,
Standing strong,
Grounded,
Protected and beautiful.
Just as you are,
You are a mountain.
You are a mountain.
And today you are going to be a mountain.
So,
When you are ready I ask that you guys sit down,
Make yourselves comfortable,
Put yourselves in a position that you will not be disturbed and we will start this meditation.
Ready?
I ask you to sit down,
Close your eyes and start to focus on your breath.
Taking a big deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
Doesn't that feel good?
And another long deep breath in through your nose.
Taking a breath out.
Good.
Continuing to inhale and exhale.
Continuing to breathe deeply,
Bringing your awareness to the sensations of your breath and the gentle windmills that is creating within you.
Letting your breath be,
Just letting it be as it is.
Coming to your natural breath now,
Not forcing,
Not pushing,
But just being in your natural state,
Allowing your natural breath to arise,
Expanding your sensations of your body,
Your illnesses,
Your body,
Sitting upright with dignity,
Bringing your attention to the surface beneath you and the support that it provides.
Rooting your body,
Rooting your body in strength,
Connecting to all that is.
Feeling completely whole within your body.
Feeling completely complete.
Feeling grounded.
Grounding in all of the unwavering contrast that is constantly around us.
As you sit there,
Visualize a big mountain,
Big and beautiful mountain whose peaks are covered in clouds that continues upwards,
Not even seeing the top of the mountain because of its great strength,
Its great height,
Its great beauty,
But knowing that it is deeply rooted in the ground of the earth.
Seeing and feeling this mountain,
Feeling the sourness,
The grandness of it,
The unmovingness of this mountain and the beauty of it.
Seeing this mountain,
What do you see?
What do you feel?
Do you see trees?
Is it raining?
Is the mountain covered in snow?
Other people climbing the mountain.
Why are you alone with the mountain?
What feelings is this bringing in your body?
Whoever it is,
Let it be as it is.
Let it be.
Let it be.
Just as it is,
Perfect in all of its glory.
Be this mountain in share and stillness.
Be the strength of this mountain.
Be rooted in this mountain,
Combining all of you into this mountain.
You're not separate from it.
For its strength is your strength.
For its glory is your glory.
Be the mountain who will be called beautiful and inspiring and dark and painful.
Know that all those things and less are you.
Experience all of this.
Be the mountain where it sits.
Be the mountain in the day and be the mountain in the night.
Aware of the changes of each moment brings,
Around it and to it.
Let it remain in itself,
Still.
As all of the seasons come to pass on this mountain,
Winter,
Spring,
Summer,
Autumn,
Embracing all of these,
All of the seasons of your life,
Embracing it now.
Reaching out to the rain,
With new seasons,
Allowing the air to swirl from hot to cold.
As the weather comes from ting to turbulent.
As the trenches become so far and they tail the surface of the mountains,
Ripping into it.
But still,
The mountain stays strong.
For you are strong.
Throughout all of this,
None of this concerns the mountain.
All of its peace and calmness is housewoven.
It cannot be disturbed.
It cannot be disturbed because it's grounded in its stability.
It's grounded in its strength.
In the same way you sit in meditation,
You experience the mountain as a means to embody the same center,
The same unwavering stillness and groundedness in the face of all of your challenges in your life,
Over seconds and hours and years.
As the mountain experiences all the changes of nature,
So do you.
You will have periods of great sadness and you will have periods of great happiness.
You will have joyful moments and you will have sad moments.
You will have moments of darkness as the night sky that rains over the mountain.
You will have moments of day and sunlight as the mountain does.
Be the mountain.
Through it all,
Be the mountain.
Call on the patient strength and the stability within you.
Call on the beauty that you are.
Let it empower you to accomplish each and every one of these moments,
Mindfully,
Compassionately and with complete clarity.
Be the mountain.
Be the mountain.
Repeating with me,
Either out loud or in your mind,
I am the mountain.
I am the strength of the mountain.
I am grounded as the mountain.
I am beautiful as the mountain.
I am the mountain.
Taking a few deep breaths in now.
As we come back into our center,
Back into the room,
Taking a deep breath in through our nose.
And I'll throw them off.
Taking another deep breath in through our nose.
And I'll throw them off.
Taking another deep breath in and holding this one and breathing out.
Wiggling our fingers and our toes.
Swaying our body back and forth.
When you are ready,
Opening your eyes,
Coming back into the room,
Coming back into your body.
I hope everyone enjoyed this meditation.
