Hi everyone,
It's Gemma from Be Thai Style here.
So today I'm going to guide you through a meditation that can be done around the New Moon period.
So the New Moon symbolises new beginnings and a fresh start.
So it makes it an ideal time to revisit our goals and desires,
To set new intentions and to plant new seeds.
The New Moon gives us the perfect opportunity to get clear about the things that we really want to create and manifest in our life.
Visualising what we want to manifest is a powerful way to plant these new seeds of intention.
So for this meditation we'll take a bit of time to focus on what our intentions are,
What our desires are and to plant these seeds of intention.
To start by coming into a comfortable seated position,
Either sitting cross legged,
Maybe sit on a pillow if you need some extra height,
Some padding under the sitting bones.
Or find an alternative sitting position,
Maybe on the heels with the knees together or maybe stretch the legs out if you prefer.
Make sure that the sitting bones are grounded into the mat,
The spine is straight,
Elongating up through the spine,
Drawing the crown of the head up and the shoulders draw down away from the ears.
You can relax the hands of the palms face up on the knees or on your lap.
And then close your eyes and start to bring your awareness to your breath here.
Just notice your inhale and notice your exhale,
Noticing how your breath is feeling in this moment.
And allow yourself some time just to let yourself arrive in that present moment in the present space.
If your mind is feeling particularly busy,
As you breathe in just say to yourself the word in.
As you breathe out say to yourself the word out.
As we focus our awareness on the breath we can slowly start to draw our attention away from the mind and all the thoughts going on there.
And bring that attention to the breath into the inner body.
Gradually slowing the activity of the mind.
Inhaling in,
Exhaling out.
Do this a few more times.
And start to bring your awareness.
So that point between the eyebrows,
Third eye chakra resides.
Third eye is associated with vision,
With intention,
Manifestation.
Where we can foresee the future and also where we can plant these seeds of intention.
For what it is that we want to achieve,
What our deepest desires truly are.
To keep your awareness at this point in between the eyebrows.
And then asking yourself what do you want to create and manifest this week?
What are your goals for this coming week?
What are you working on?
What could you achieve this week that would have a powerful impact to your life?
Start to visualize these goals that come up.
See yourself achieving these goals.
And connect to that feeling that you're going to feel at the end of the week once you have done these things,
Once you have reached these goals.
Feeling of accomplishment.
Feel that sensation and that feeling,
That emotion in your body as you visualize this.
And expand this visualization further.
What do you want to create and manifest this month?
So thinking about the next 30 days.
What could you possibly achieve in these next 30 days to move you further to your desire?
And again as you visualize yourself achieving these goals,
Creating these things,
Moving towards your dreams.
Really connect to that feeling of accomplishment as you do these things.
Feel the way that you will feel once you have done it,
Like you've achieved it now already.
Connect to that feeling.
Bring it into your body.
And feel the way that you will feel once you have done it.
And feel the way that you will feel once you have done it.
And as you keep your awareness on your third eye chakra,
Ask yourself how do you see yourself and your life in the next six months,
In six months time?
What does your life look like?
What have you created and what have you achieved in six months time?
Imagine that you have time traveled.
What has manifested in your life?
What have you manifested in your life?
Visualize yourself and your life in six months time with as much detail as possible.
Really using the power of your imagination here.
How do you feel?
Feel that feeling inside of you,
Like you have achieved all of these things already.
They have already manifested into reality.
Take your time.
Seeing your life play out in front of your eyes,
The next six months like a movie,
You're watching this through your third eye.
And hold your intentions and your desires in your mind for a few more moments.
And slowly start to draw your awareness back to your breath.
And noticing the inhale and the exhale.
Drawing the energy back down,
You can turn your palms face down to help yourself re-ground here for the contact of the sitting bones on the mat or the floor.
For the contact of your hands,
On your knees or on your thighs.
Let your breath be natural.
And when you're ready,
You can start to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Bringing some movement back into your body.
Maybe rolling the neck a few times to re-awaken yourself after that powerful manifestation.
And opening your eyes.
Take your time to transition back into your day or your evening.
