We shall be starting in a comfortable seated position so make sure that however you're sitting whether that's cross legged or sitting on your heels with the knees together make sure that you'll be comfortable for the next 10 minutes or so.
Feel free to use a pillow or a cushion underneath your sit bones if you need.
And once you've found this comfortable seated position you can rest your hands on your knees,
Palms can be face down or face upwards whichever feels most natural.
Make sure that your spine is straight here for the connection of your sit bones on the ground or the pillow.
Feel yourself connected to the earth but at the same time the spine is nice and long and it feels almost like the crown of the head is drawing you higher and higher up towards the ceiling.
Relax the shoulders,
Relax the head but without letting the chin drop to the chest keeping the chin parallel to the ground.
Close the eyes and relax all of your facial muscles,
Release any tension that you may be holding onto around the jaw.
We'll take these first few moments just to let ourselves settle into this space,
Into this meditation.
So simply start to become aware of each breath you're taking and allow the breath to stay natural here.
Just observing the inhale and the exhale.
Just following the breath with your awareness.
Now if your palms are facing down turn the palms to face upwards to invite a receiving energy into this meditation today to allow us to receive all of the qualities that we need to receive right now.
Throughout this meditation we will go through a series of affirmations and you can repeat each affirmation after me.
You can repeat the affirmation either in your head or out loud,
Whichever you prefer.
So just start bringing your awareness to the centre of your belly,
To the solar plexus or the manapura chakra.
So this is located about an inch or so above the belly button,
Above the navel.
This is where your fire in the belly resides.
So you can start to imagine a fire burning inside your belly.
You can visualise the flames of this fire.
Feeling the warmth that the fire is creating inside of you and building this heat.
You can keep your awareness on the centre of the belly,
On this fire that is burning inside of you where your personal power resides.
Repeat each affirmation after me either in your head or out loud.
I am worthy.
I am worthy.
I am strong.
I am strong.
I am confident.
I am confident.
I believe in myself and my abilities.
I believe in myself and my abilities.
I follow my dreams with courage.
I follow my dreams with courage.
I am empowered.

Just take a few natural breaths here,
Letting the energy settle.
Start to draw your awareness up to your heart,
The centre of the heart where the heart chakra resides.
And from here you may place one hand over your heart or maybe both hands,
Palms facing towards the heart centre.
And just take a few breaths here,
Breathing into this part of the body,
Into the heart centre.
And again repeating the affirmations after me.
I accept myself completely.
I accept myself completely.
I love myself regardless.
I love myself regardless.
I am good enough.
I am good enough.
I am beautiful.
I am beautiful.
I am perfect exactly as I am.
I am perfect exactly as I am.
I am empowered.

And just releasing the hands back onto the knees,
This time palms can face down.
Keep the shoulders relaxed,
Keep the jaw relaxed.
And just let the energy settle around you.
Notice in any differences,
Any shifts that you feel from that short but powerful meditation.
Notice any physical sensations maybe tingling of their fingers.
Any feelings or emotions that may have come up through repeating those affirmations.
And if there is any emotions or any feelings that have come up,
Just observe and allow them.
Accepting them,
Surrendering to them.
Instead of trying to resist or control.
Maintaining your awareness on your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And then keeping the eyes closed we will take three deep cleansing breaths to end the day.
And the practice.
So a deep cleansing breath is a deep inhale through the nose and then an exhale through the mouth.
So release your current breath.
Take an inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Two more of those.
Inhaling through the nose.
Exhaling through the mouth.
Last one.
Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Let your breath return back to its natural pace.
Feel the connection of your hands on your knees and your sitting bones on the floor or on the pillow.
And whenever you are ready you can start to invite some gentle movement back into the physical body.
Maybe wiggling the fingers,
The toes,
Rocking the head gently side to side.
Reawakening the physical body.
And then you can open your eyes.
And just take a moment before you continue on with your day just take a moment to notice how you are feeling after this meditation compared to how you felt before.
Just observe any shifts,
Any differences in your mind.
