Tie Style and today I'm going to take you through a guided meditation for this full moon period that's where you're in.
So to start,
Find a comfortable position.
You could either be seated or lying down,
Whichever you prefer right now.
Whatever position you come into,
Make sure you're completely comfortable.
All of your muscles are relaxed.
If you're seated,
You may want to rest the hands on the knees.
If you're laying down,
Maybe rest the hands on the belly.
And start to become aware of your breath.
Listen to each inhale and each exhale.
So the full moon is associated with letting go of things that no longer serve us.
So this time of the month is a good time to reflect on what it is in our life right now that is no longer serving us.
So I invite you to take a moment to just think of if there is something in your life that you could do with letting go of,
Something no longer serving you,
Something maybe that you're holding on to.
It could be a recurrent thought that is playing on your mind,
That is not healthy.
Maybe a emotion that you're dealing with at the moment.
Maybe it's a situation or even a person in your life.
So setting an intention for this day and this week to let go of all that no longer serves you.
As you breathe here in this meditation,
Invite the sense of letting go of each breath,
With each exhale just soften the body,
Release any tension.
Each exhale can you let go just a little bit more.
Maybe exhale a little and then hold on for a minute,
Inhale a little and then exhale again.
Now begin to visualize the bright light of the full moon glowing above you.
The light of the full moon shines down upon you.
Feel your energy,
Mind and body receiving a cleanse of light as the positive uplifting energies of the moonlight streams down onto you.
Feel yourself letting go of what no longer serves you and experience your energy being uplifted and recharged.
Then focus in on what you truly desire.
What is the desire of your heart at this present moment in your life?
What is your desire and imagine the light of the moon supercharging your intention.
Feel your inner light glowing brightly within you.
Your inner light is reflected in the light of the full moon above.
And here allowing yourself to just be.
What is it that you want it to have?
Every in-house saying to yourself,
I receive the energy of the moon.
Every exhale saying,
I let go of all that no longer serves.
Every breath I take,
I let go of all that no longer serves.
Every breath I take,
I let go of all that no longer serves.
And holding your intention in your mind,
In your third eye,
Slowly begin to deepen your breath,
Breathing in from the belly,
Breathing out all the way back to the belly,
Deep abdominal breathing.
Start to reawaken the physical body,
Maybe wiggling the toes and the fingers,
Maybe moving the head slightly from side to side.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes and continuing on with your day,
With your intention of letting go in your mind.
