Sensing the ground,
The connection with the earth,
Feel your hip bones heavy on the floor or your seat,
Sensing that earth energy supporting you,
Grounding you into this present moment,
Holding you.
So there is no need to clench or contract anything else in the body,
You feel supported,
Grounded.
Sensing that connection between your heart space and the heart,
The core of the earth,
Gently coming back to the heart space for a few breaths.
Now connecting to the subtle energy of the universe,
Receiving that subtle,
Pure energy,
Traveling from your crown all the way down to the heart space.
Maybe there's that golden thread,
Maybe there's that golden thread connecting your heart space to the core of the universe,
Source of everything,
Feeling grounded,
But also elevated,
Connected to your middle,
To those deeper layers of your being.
Grabbing the Kakao and place that drink just right in front of your heart for a moment,
Honoring the medicine of the Kakao plant,
Receive the energy,
The presence of the Kakao drink,
You might sense the warmth,
The smell,
Connect to that sacredness of this moment,
In your own way,
Setting an intention for your meditation.
And if you don't have an intention for now,
That's absolutely fine,
We can share a common intention of connecting to the abundance that is here in this present moment.

Receive that medicine.

The abundance that is already here as you sip your drink,

Let's find a comfortable position where you can fully let go,
Maybe a child's pose,
A reclined butterfly laying on your back.
Start to take fuller,
Deeper breaths,
Sensing the energy traveling through the body.
Notice that energy in particular in the center of the chest,
The heart space.
And as you breathe,
Allow that warming energy of the Kakao to radiate to different areas of your body.
Starting with your head,
Receive that soothing,
Relaxing,
Opening energy in the face,
In the face,
Your jaw,
Your forehead,
Traveling through the arms,
The shoulders,
Trusting that these relaxing,
Loving,
Soothing energy that radiates from the heart space has an endless quality and you can direct it to different parts of the body,
Maybe the back of the body for a few breaths,
Scanning through the body,
Observing if there are any areas of tension and sending that relaxing energy to those areas.
Eventually,
You feel engulfed in this smiling,
Soothing energy so you can actually let go of any unnecessary tension,
Any resistance to this moment.
And your body receives that endless source of oxygen,
Vitality as you breathe.
Probably by now,
You're feeling at ease,
Open to receive the present moment.
And of course,
There are thoughts that can come and go just like the clouds.
Allow the thinking energy to come and go without attaching much to something in particular.
Sensing the aliveness,
The abundance that this present moment has for you.
Even if there are worried parts or areas in the body that still feel a little discomfort,
Notice how your loving awareness can embrace them.
Swirl the breath through the heart space,
Feeling complete,
Sensing the totality of this moment.
Sensing the totality of this moment of your existence.
Trusting that whatever you truly need is available for you.
Scanning through the body to check if the body still feels comfortable.
Feeling your body open to receive the following affirmations.
