Hello everyone,

Welcome to Free the Fire.

This is our third guided meditation and today we're going to start with a little bit of ambient music and some warm-up exercises and then we can go ahead and jump right into the set mixed by Tiberiu.

This is your first time listening to a Free the Fire guided meditation,

Then welcome.

We are a little bit different than most guided meditations.

Most guided meditations are very calm and relaxing,

Which we begin with as always,

But we like to ramp things up a little bit.

We like to bring the intensity to our meditation and through intensity,

The intensity of the music,

Rhythmic breathing,

We like to get high and go to deep places in our mind that are difficult to get into with a normal meditation.

So again,

We welcome you,

We welcome you to experience this for the first time or welcome back again if you have experienced it before.

So we'll go ahead and begin.

First,

Getting our meditation space set up,

Sitting with our back straight and our head up so we can have the maximum amount of blood flow to our brains.

And you may want to have some water nearby just to quench the thirst because we are going to be breathing deep and fast.

So we'll begin with one of my favorite breathing exercises,

Breath hold.

And we'll try and stretch out all of those tight muscles in our respiratory system.

So we can begin by closing our eyes and just breathing in through our nose and out through our nose calmly.

And you may notice that as you breathe in and your belly comes out and you relax that diaphragm,

There's a little bit of tightness in your diaphragm.

And so we are going to stretch that out a little bit.

So I invite you to take a nice big deep breath in and out.

And then we'll go ahead and hold.

So I invite you to take a nice big deep breath in and at the top of our breath we can go ahead and hold.

Just holding at the top of our breath,

Fighting that tension down in our belly.

And we can exhale and relax.

We'll be doing this for a few more times,

Taking a breath to catch up.

And again breathing in nice big deep breath and holding at the top.

And as you hold at the top,

I invite you to push that belly and that diaphragm out a little bit and challenge that tension down there.

And again we relax and we exhale.

Taking a breath to catch up.

And again breathing in nice big deep breath.

And holding at the top.

And as we hold and we challenge that tension by pushing out our belly,

We can even open up those shoulders and move our head around,

Move our head back,

Feel that tension in your diaphragm.

In your chest,

In your neck,

And in your shoulders,

All those muscles that are tight.

And we can relax and exhale.

And one last time as we take a breath to catch up.

Nice big inhale in.

And hold at the top.

And as we hold,

Pushing that belly out.

And we can even lean back with our hands behind us to support and we can really open up that chest as we continue to hold and fight all that tension.

Pushing out our diaphragm.

Moving around that head as we stretch those shoulders and that neck.

Really getting a good stretch here.

And as we hold,

We're going to stretch our shoulders and that neck.

Really getting a good stretch here.

And we can come forward,

Relax,

And exhale nice and easy.

And as we begin to breathe again,

We can focus on breathing in through our nose and out through our mouth.

And out through our mouth.

In through our nose.

And out through our mouth.

And as we breathe in through our nose,

We can feel the cool,

Refreshing air travel in and down the back of our throat.

And as we exhale through our mouth,

We can feel the warm air pass over our lips.

And as we breathe in,

Focusing on that cool air,

We can feel the excitement that it brings.

And as we exhale and breathe out that hot air,

We can let go of a lot of tension that we have in our breath.

And you may begin to realize that our breathing down in our belly has become deeper.

And it can start to become automatic as we breathe in through our nose and our belly comes out.

And as we exhale through our mouth and our belly comes in.

And our belly comes out and as we exhale through our mouth and our belly comes in.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Breathing in through our nose as our belly comes out.

And breathing out through our mouth as our belly comes in.

And already we can notice that we have sort of forgotten about the rest of the world,

Forgotten about all of our worries and all the bull crap that surrounds our mind.

Breathing in.

Breathing in as that belly comes out and breathing out as that belly comes in.

And in a moment we are going to begin with our rhythmic breathing as we introduce our set.

And I invite you to join me in the process of breathing out and breathing in.

And as we exhale through our mouth and our belly comes out.

And I invite you to join me as we breathe in deeper and we breathe in faster.

Getting a little high and starting to get deeper into the meditation deeper into our own minds.

And we can breathe in with the rhythm and out with the rhythm.

Breathing in and out.

In and out.

And in and out.

And in and out.

And in and out.

In as we breathe in and the music gets more intense.

And in we can make our breath a little more intense.

And out.

And in and out.

In and out.

And in and out.

And as we notice as we merge our breath with the beats and the music.

It starts to take us on a journey.

In and out.

In and out.

In through our nose and out through our mouth.

In through our nose and out through our mouth.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

Breathing deeper as our diaphragm relaxes and tenses.

Breathing in and out.

And in and out.

And in deeper and out deeper.

And in and out.

And in deeper and out.

And in and out.

In and out.

In and out.

And in and out.

And in and out.

You may start to get a little high,

Start to feel tingling.

But one thing is for sure.

You should feel no worries.

You should have no outside thoughts.

Just focusing on the breath and focusing on the beats.

Breathing in and out.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

Picking up the tempo.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

And out.

In and out.

In and out.

In breathing deeper out.

In and out.

Starting to lose the sense of your body.

Really integrating your breath with the beat.

Immersing ourselves in the music.

And in and out.

Breathing in nice big deep breath and hold at the top.

Holding your breath.

And exhale.

Breathing in.

And out.

Slowing it down.

In and out.

And in and out.

Breathing in and out.

And in and out.

Feeling a combination of excitement and relaxation.

As we move into our nose and now to our mouth.

If you wish to spread your legs out and take a break.

All is well.

Give your body a break.

Take a drink of water.

And when you are finished and you are ready to jump back in to your breath and merge it with music.

You can begin.

Breathing in and out.

And in and out.

And in and out.

And in and out.

Through our rhythmic breathing and diving into the music.

We have completely lost ourselves.

Lost touch with normal reality.

We have entered a different reality.

We have gone deep into our own minds.

We are completely in a slow state.

And in breathing deeply and holding at the top.

Holding deeper.

Holding feeling that tension rise.

And nice and slowly exhale.

Breathing in and out.

Wow! That was certainly a very entrancing meditation! I don't normally get into flow with synthesized rave like beats (electronic?) But the guidance with breath and the extra oxygenation in my body, in my mind really felt...heightening. Not a very spiritual practice as I am accustomed, but still very enriching to my practice nonetheless!

YESSS!!!! This was incredible!!!! I am a huge EDM fan! Daily dance parties at my house! And meditate daily! This is what I need more of!!!! Right now the thing that in 2020 has been the most difficult for me is the lack of live music, the connection and freedom it brings me. This brought my mind and soul back into my old and always home Costa Rica, dancing on the beach, exchanging smiles and love! Absolutely love it!!!!
