Welcome to Daily Insights,
My name is François and in this episode I will talk about recharging.
So get ready to expand your perspective and embrace positive change.
It's so easy to be busy doing the most important things,
Losing yourself in work and putting your hobby aside for like a week,
And then two,
And then a month.
Then you don't even remember when was the last time you did something for yourself.
And it leaves you wondering,
When did life become this hectic rat race?
I was at a Growth Day live event in Texas a few months ago and Brendan Bouchard asked the audience a simple yet profound question.
What are three things you do daily to bring yourself joy?
I was so surprised to see how many struggled to answer that question.
And to be honest with you,
I was one of them.
It hit me hard.
How had joy become such a rarity in our lives?
That's how we fall again into the trap of being stuck in the future and we miss out on the present.
The key lies in those small,
Seemingly insignificant moments that light up our hearts,
Reminding us of what it truly means to be alive.
Those moments are not a luxury.
They are the very essence of a fulfilling life.
Those are the most important things.
How do you recharge every day?
Every week?
I invite you to write down at least three things you can do daily.
And a good tip,
Do more of that.
Oh yeah,
One more thing.
I'm not talking about things that give you instant pleasure,
But joy.
You know,
Social media gives you pleasure,
Food,
Alcohol,
Gaming,
Etc.
And it makes you feel good in the moment,
But dopamine only makes you crave for more.
So when you stop,
You feel miserable.
So better to change those squirreling moments or other pleasure-inducing activities to things that really bring joy,
And grant you in the present moment,
And help you reconnect with your own being.
Thank you for choosing to spend this few minutes with me.
I hope this episode has left you with a powerful takeaway to apply to your life.
Remember,
It's the small steps we take each day that lead to significant transformation.
Follow me to not miss out on the next insight.
And remember,
One insight can change everything.
So stay present,
Stay focused,
And embrace the potential of each new day.
