Good morning.

Welcome to this brand new day.

Pausing before your day begins.

To be still.

To have a word with God.

Whatever that means to you.

Saying a prayer for this day.

Making your body really comfortable.

And breathing slowly and deeply.

Enjoying these first few deep breaths of your day.

Your body receiving this gift.

Fresh life giving breath.

Deeply nourishing every cell of this body.

Here in abundance.

Your body receiving that gift generously.

And your whole body softening as you exhale.

Does you sit here for these few moments?

Welcome in a prayer for your life.

What's your prayer for this day?

What's your prayer for this week?

What's your prayer for this year and beyond?

What's your prayer for this moment right now?

As you allow your prayers to spring forth from your deepest being.

Let your body soften in.

Let the gap between you and God melt away.

Knowing that these prayers have been heard.

These prayers have been heard by you.

What matters to you for today?

What will you give value to today?

Drop everything that's not needed right now.

And let your body rest for these few moments.

And now breathing deeply again.

Breath flowing deeply into your belly.

Flowing wide into your chest.

And your body softening even more as you exhale.

As you breathe deeply.

Breathe in this prayer for your life.

And as you exhale,

Give thanks that this prayer has been heard.

Taking your time.

Enjoying every drop of breath.

And then inviting your body to move and stretch.

And as you move forward now into your day.

Revisit your prayer often.

Pausing.

Knowing and trusting.

That these prayers have been heard.

'Let the gap between you and God fade away'. What a perfect way to start the day! This whole talk is so sublimely beautiful. This is such a gift. I will listen to this divine gift every morning. Hi Amanda, I just found this and it’s lovely. I love the really slow pace. I've long struggled with the “G” word because of all the limiting concepts around it, but here you bring it so close to and within us that it helps me reconcile the word itself, expand it to give me access to other uses of it in more traditional prayers - and there’s another slippery word for me! Thank you again, dear Manda.
