For this power nap,
I allow my mind and body to be completely relieved of all duties,
Demands,
Expectations and responsibilities.
And I trust that my body will take the sleep it needs and will wake up when it's ready,
Feeling fresh and alert.
As you lie here quietly now,
Notice that your body is breathing and begin to let your breath deepen.
Taking a few really slow and low breaths.
Inhaling right down into your belly and exhaling with a long and soft sigh.
Really take your time.
No hurry.
Let there be an ease to your breath.
Inhaling low and slow.
Inhaling body softening.
No rush.
Feel the movement of your breath.
The sensation in the inner passageways of your nostrils.
Feeling the breath directly.
Breath coming in.
Breath going out.
Let the feeling of your body come to you now.
Completely abandoning the weight.
So that right now your body is held.
Fully supported.
The bones surrendering to gravity.
Body breathing naturally now.
All by itself.
Nothing to control.
Nothing to manage.
It's enough just to be here.
Welcome the feeling inside the mouth.
The inside of the mouth softening.
Tongue resting in the mouth.
The throat settling down.
The lower jaw loosening.
Feeling the weight of the eyes.
And let them soften back now.
The feeling behind eyes softening.
A softening of the whole face.
Simply releasing the weight of the head.
Shoulders softening down.
And that softening flowing down the arms.
Flowing into the hands.
Feel the sensation in the palms.
Let the feeling come to you.
