During this practice, the window is a symbol of fears and blockages. Opening the window becomes a sign of courage, faith, and self-love. A subtle breathing technique is integrated within this exercise to calm down your mind. I advise having your headphones on for a higher quality experience.

Sit or lay down in a comfortable position.

Close your eyes.

Feel yourself relax.

Feel the tension in the muscles releasing.

Feel the skin of your scalp relaxing.

Relax your jaw.

Relax your tongue.

Relax your eyebrows.

Relax your forehead.

Allow your shoulders to drop down.

Release the tension from your forearms.

Allow your sit bones to sink into the earth grounding you.

Let go of all the unnecessary heaviness.

Let it go.

Let it go.

Let it all go.

Now bring awareness to your breath.

Observe your chest rise and fall as you hear my voice softly in the background of your mind.

For a count of three,

Inhale from your abdomen all the way up to your head.

Abdomen,

Chest,

Head.

And for a count of three,

Exhale.

Liberating yourself from negativity,

The windows of light.

Imagine your body as a tower with thousands of windows.

All the windows are closed,

It is dark and silent within.

You have maintained the windows closed for a long time,

Maybe out of fear or not believing enough in yourself.

But today is a new day,

A day to rise,

A day of courage.

When one does not open the windows,

Nothing flows naturally.

The sun is rising outside,

The light is waiting patiently to enter your sacred domain.

I want you to imagine thousands of windows but only focus your attention on one of them.

Only one.

When you see it with clarity within your mind,

Open it and feel the warm rays kiss your face.

How wonderful it feels to be touched by the hands of the sun.

As you can see,

There is nothing to fear,

No reason to hide or run.

Imagine each and every window opening slowly.

As the windows begin to open,

More and more light comes in.

What was once a temple of darkness has become a palace of light.

You are the palace,

You are the light.

Feel the light against your skin as it flows within,

From your toes to your head,

From your head to your toes.

Flowing through your body as water flows in a river,

Effortlessly.

Relax and allow the light to flow,

Allow yourself to fall into the light.

Whenever the mind attempts to pull you away,

Return to the light.

For the next few minutes,

Focus all of your attention on the light.
