This meditation is used to cultivate and improve relationships with loved ones, friends, people who we work with and with ourselves. I was first introduced to this 'Just Like Me' meditation at a course at Omega Institute led by Chade Meng Tan and Mirabai Bush for Search Inside Yourself. We did this exercise with a classmate whom we had just met, and it was a powerful perspective shift for me. I adapted the script to elicit the relaxation response and to include self-compassion.
