Day 8.
Connection.
We are all connected.
We are here to connect through other living beings.
We can find a collective sense of wholeness.
Sit comfortably in a chair,
Your feet firmly on the ground,
Or you can sit with your legs crossed,
Or you may wish to lie down.
If lying down,
Make sure your head is propped up on a folded blanket.
It needs to be firm and level with the ground.
Close your eyes and feel where your body touches the ground.
It may be your feet on the floor or your back on the ground.
Simply feel that point of contact and connection and feel that you are connected to the earth below you.
Imagine that there is an energy force coming in through this point of connection and reaching up into your body.
Like this power,
Like a source of power to you from the earth.
You are connected to the earth and all living things.
Feel the sensations from this connection and notice the way in which this impacts on your body.
Observe the sensations in your feet.
Now take your attention to your hands.
Can you feel a tingling,
A vibrational sensation?
This may not be something that you've normally noticed before.
But if you feel a tingling,
A vibrational sensation,
You may not have noticed before.
Focus on the sensations in your body.
In this stillness,
Observe it with curiosity.
You are alive with a tingling energy force coming from the earth.
Now bring to mind someone you know who you are fond of.
Someone you love and care for very deeply and see them in your mind's eye.
See them in front of you and open your heart.
Feel this vibrational energy as you connect with and send loving thoughts to this person.
And as you do this,
Listen to these words.

Now bring to mind someone you are not so fond of.
See them in front of you.
Open your heart,
Reaching out to connect with them.
Feel this vibrational energy as you connect with and send loving thoughts to this person.
And listen to the sound of my voice.
