How do we take hurt and turn it into strength? Call it out and be prepared to have a difficult conversation, otherwise, things will not shift, nor change. If we put up with it, we do ourselves and others a disservice. Often it is the fact that we are on automatic, politely carrying the hurt that we enable. This will be your strength and your ability to reclaim your power and build a stronger relationship with yourself and others.

Day 6 Hurt to Strength When we feel emotional hurt,

We are responding to threats,

As we may have responded to them in the past.

Things in our life keep showing up,

And we keep responding in the same way,

Unaware and trying to protect the self from facing up to the difficulties that present time and again.

Our hurt may be triggered by a comment from someone else,

From something we imagine as being truth,

Or from the impact of someone unaware to deliberately harm.

Do not believe them.

Sit quietly and comfortably in an upright position,

Hands and palms facing upwards on your lap.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and into the abdomen,

And release the breath.

Take two more breaths in the same way and in your own time.

As you release the breath,

Relax back and observe the word hurt.

H U R T Hurt Notice where you feel hurt in your body.

Place your hand there and breathe into that space,

Simply noticing and observing what happens.

Notice the transformation of hurt to a stronger sense of purpose and presence.

Feel it mend simply through observation,

Coming from the inside out.

Focus on the resilience,

On the ability to strengthen this vulnerable place.

Remove the impact like water flowing off the skin that no one can enter nor conquer this place.

This belongs to you.

From the inside out,

Imagine a warm,

Calm,

Strong light emanating from the healing of the hurt space like a balm of intention to mend.

With the glowing presence of healing light,

The light filters through the hurt and into the body.

Breathe this light in through your whole body like a shield.

Know that you are protected and that you can protect yourself and that you are stronger now.

The hurt has been diminished and dissipates and melts away and the lessons strengthen and enable you to move forwards with a newfound sense of capability.

You are safe.

You are strong.

Take three more deep,

Fulfilling breaths in your own time.

As each breath awakens the body,

How do we take hurt and turn it into strength?

Call it out and be prepared to have the difficult conversation.

Otherwise,

Things will not shift nor change.

If we put up with it,

We do ourselves and others a disservice.

Often it is the fact that we are on automatic,

Politely carrying the hurt that we enable.

This will be your strength and your ability to reclaim your power and build a stronger relationship with yourself and with others.

Open your eyes and notice how you feel.
