Welcome to this gratitude meditation by Follow Your Chakra.

Prepare your body to listen to this meditation by finding a comfortable space to sit or lie down.

Bring your attention to your breath.

Feel how your belly,

Chest,

And shoulders respond as the air moves in and out.

Send gratitude to your lungs for continuing to fill you with life-giving oxygen without you even trying.

Allow your breath to continue on its own now.

Bring your attention to your space.

Notice the sounds you may hear outside the room.

Identify each one as you hear it and then let it go.

Now bring your attention to the sounds inside the room.

Finally,

Notice any sounds you may hear within your own body.

Your breath,

Heart beating,

Throat swallowing.

Bring your awareness deeper now into the body.

Notice if there are any areas of tension or tightness and send those areas gratitude for being a signal to you.

Then use the breath to send healing to those places throughout the meditation.

Focus now on your third eye,

The space between your eyebrows.

This is the place of inner knowing and intuition.

From this place of wisdom you can see clearly.

Allow all the things you are grateful for to float into the screen of your mind and see them written in your own handwriting.

As each thing you are grateful for comes to mind,

Acknowledge it,

Send it thanks,

And then picture as it moves from your mind into your heart,

Planting it like a little seed.

As your heart fills with all the things you are grateful for,

You begin to feel a sense of deep joy begin to emanate from your core.

Your heart has a glowing pink light surrounding it and as it grows larger you bring to mind more things you are grateful for.

Expanding your scope to your neighborhood,

City,

Country,

And the world.

Watch as this joyful light of gratitude comes to encompass everything expanding out into the universe.

There is truly no end to joy and gratitude and it can be felt for even the things that do not bring us immediate happiness.

When we can find the appreciation in everything,

Even in the tough times and lessons,

We can truly be happy.

Identify some of these things now and hold them in your heart as you watch the pink light grow stronger.

Know that even if you haven't found the lesson in these things yet,

You can allow the light to hold space for you and in time it will be revealed and healed.

Now take a moment to think of someone in your life who has a hard time finding appreciation and gratitude in their life.

Send your pink light to them and see them glowing in perfect gratitude as it transforms them allowing more joy into their life.

When we can see another person in perfect joy and completeness,

It helps them to heal.

Finally,

See yourself standing in the light of joy and all-encompassing gratitude.

Feel and know that this vision of yourself is true and send yourself gratitude for coming to this practice.
