Welcome to this Yoga Nidra meditation for a healthy immune system by Follow Your Chakra.
Prepare yourself to listen to this meditation by finding a comfortable space to sit or lie down.
Allow your palms to face up in a gesture of openness and receiving.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Allow the air to fill the lungs.
First feel as the breath fully inflates the belly.
Exhale slowly.
Next feel the breath fill the belly and then up into the ribs.
Exhale slowly.
Finally feel the breath fill the belly,
Ribs and into the chest.
Exhale slowly.
This meditation is designed to help your body support a healthy immune system.
We will begin the Yoga Nidra practice by taking in the most distant sounds that you hear.
Identify each one and then gently let it go.
Now allow sounds inside your room to come into focus.
Finally notice the sounds within your own body.
The sound of breath,
Throat swallowing.
Then let that focus go.
As we move our focus more inward to the body,
Begin to picture a healing light,
An orange light.
See how this light originates at your belly button and on every inhale it rises to your heart center.
On every exhale it moves down the body back to your navel.
The orange light rises to the heart,
27,
And falls to the navel.
26,
Inhale,
Exhale.
Counting back with every inhale and exhale,
Return to 27 if you lose track.
Release the counting now and see the light of healing,
The orange light placed at the top of your head.
The light is warm and comforting.
It starts to shine over the skull and forehead,
Shines into the eyebrows and between the eyes.
The healing light seeps deep into the brain and shines back out the eyes.
Orange light fills into the ears,
Nose,
And cheeks.
Upper lip,
Lower lip,
Tongue,
And teeth.
Healing light fills the jaw bones and chin.
Orange light seeps over the neck and throat,
Both shoulders at the same time.
See it washing over the upper arms,
Elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
And the fingers of both hands at the same time.
Both thumbs,
Second finger,
Third finger,
Fourth fingers,
And fifth fingers illuminated with orange light.
The whole palm glowing now with healing light.
Now see the light shining at heart center,
Shining so bright it lights up both lungs,
Healing from the inside out.
The light grows and shines out from the heart,
Down through the ribs,
Mid-back,
And into the belly.
The orange light becomes even brighter as it reaches your navel,
Shining out forward and back like a beacon of healing.
Orange light fills the hips,
Lower back,
Pelvis,
And travels down both legs at the same time.
Upper legs,
Knees,
Lower legs,
Ankles,
Heels,
Top of the feet,
Bottom of the feet,
All ten toes.
Now the whole body is illuminated with orange healing light.
See the whole body at once glowing.
See the body healed,
Every part,
Inside and out,
Down to every hair and microscopic cell.
Feel it working in perfect harmony.
Know that your body's natural healing mechanisms and organs are working perfectly to keep you healthy.
Repeat the following affirmations silently to yourself.
I am healthy.
I am healed.
I am strong.
I am protected.
With your body fully healed and glowing orange,
Allow the following sensations to move through you.
Embody the feeling of being heavy.
So heavy you can't lift a finger.
Heavy.
Now release the feeling of heaviness and feel completely light.
Light is a feather,
So light you float away.
Embody the feeling of being contracted as if your entire being could fit into a single point.
Feel contracted.
Release the feeling of contraction and see yourself expanded.
Your light and energy expands out around you,
Filling the room,
Your home,
Your neighborhood,
Your city,
Your country.
The whole world and beyond.
Then quickly feel as your expansion contracts back to fill your earthly body.
Tune into the difference between your subtle energetic body and your physical body.
Imagine or feel your subtle body and then feel its connection to the physical body.
Imagine as if you could step out of your physical body and see it in front of you.
As you see your physical body,
See deeply into all organs of the body.
See them working in perfect harmony.
See how any dis-ease or discomfort simply fades away as you bring the orange light of healing to those areas of darkness.
Know that nothing dark can thrive in the light.
See the body's incredible healing potential radiate from every pore.
See inflammation melting away.
See pain disintegrate with ease.
See pathways clearing.
See your body in its healthiest,
Highest potential.
Once you know your healing to be true with every fiber of your being,
Step back into harmony with your physical body,
Becoming one again.
Allow the feelings of oneness,
Health,
And harmony to wash over the body.
Gently bring your awareness back into the room.
Allow a full healing breath to fill the lungs and exhale slowly.
Wiggle fingers and toes or allow the body to stay still as you drift off into healing sleep.
The practice of Yoga Nidra is now complete.
