Welcome.
I am so glad you're here.
Before we get started,
I would just like to acknowledge that it is not easy to be going through whatever it is that you are going through.
So if you would like to just note how you feel,
Allow for yourself to take a moment here.
You might rate this on an uncomfortable level of one being maybe a little uncomfortable.
Maybe you're somewhere in between a 10 of being extremely uncomfortable.
So allowing for yourself to measure where you're at when you start this technique will help you start to find a way to break the cycle of overthinking and worrying.
So just noting that number,
Setting it aside for now.
Allow for yourself to sit up nice and tall.
Start to come in and become aware of your breath.
What does your breath feel like right now in your body?
Does the breath feel a certain way?
Is it a short breath?
Is it a full,
Deep breath?
Next,
Allow for yourself.
To move into the awareness.
Of where you feel uncomfortable in your body.
Dropping into whatever area of the body that might feel a certain way.
I invite you to start to find your breath here in this area.
If you are worried about your health and if it would help you,
I invite you to also place maybe your hand or both hands on this area of your body that you're experiencing any type of health worry.
Maybe it's a diagnosis.
Or sickness.
Some form of malaise.
I'm truly sorry for what you're experiencing.
And I would like to invite you to turn your breath on if you may.
So when you're ready allow for yourself to sit up nice and tall with your focus on this area of your body We're just going to take some basic breathing This is a very powerful way to start to let all the worry move from a negative standpoint with where you feel extremely uncomfortable and we're going to start to lessen that coming into more of a place that you can be present in your life.
Allowing for yourself to let go of your breath by taking an inhale in through your nose.
And then gently exhale out through your mouth.
Inhale in.
Exhale out Inhale in.
And exhale out.
Inhale in.
Perhaps closing your mouth on the exhale,
Exhaling out.
One more,
Inhale in.
With your hands placed wherever this place is,
Exhale into that place.
We'll take two more big breaths in.
And out.
One more.
Inhale in.
And exhale deeply,
Sending this attention and awareness into that place in your body.
Allowing your hands to soften away from the space,
Allowing for yourself a few moments of silence,
Just sitting and becoming still.
When you are ready,
Welcome you to start to move the body.
Little bits of movement coming back into the body,
Stirring the stillness.
Letting yourself recognize any differences or similarities in this gentle practice.
Allow for yourself.
Take a few breaths.
And then when you are ready.
Go ahead and rate yourself again if you feel uncomfortable wherever you're at with these health concerns,
This health worry of whatever it is that ails you.
How uncomfortable you would be.
Maybe a one is a little uncomfortable or a 10 being extremely uncomfortable.
Just noding.
Allowing for yourself to start to practice this.
Watching the number of your discomfort move.
From a high to a low.
Over time,
Allowing for this gentle pause can also break up your thought patterns.
Perhaps any excess time that you would spend looking up conditions,
Sicknesses,
Illnesses,
Diagnoses,
Letting yourself be aware,
But allowing yourself to not go to a place of worry.
To allowing yourself to be present.
And accept.
I wish you well.
Thank you for practicing.
