This is Fiona Bennett and together we're going to go on a journey of healing.
Let's get comfortable and ready to relax.
So make sure that you're sitting or lying in a way that you can really breathe easily and the air can flow freely right from your nose all the way down and back all the way up and out without any effort or any obstruction.
Just take a moment and get yourself comfortable.
Let your eyes close.
Remember that this is your time and you can adjust yourself.
You can change the rate of your breathing.
You can open your eyes and you can stop at any time that you choose because you are in control of your body and yourself.
So I invite you to take a nice big breath in through your nose and out through your nose and just allow your body to start to relax.
Just allow your body to start to take in that positive,
Refreshing air and make use of it.
Let it start to circulate.
Put your attention right to the base of your spine.
As you breathe now with every in breath,
Imagine it going to that place at the base of your spine.
Breathe in and down to the base of your spine and up and out.
With this breath,
Imagine now as you breathe in and down to the base of your spine,
You see roots growing right out from that place,
Straight down to the center of the earth.
Let your breath follow those roots,
In and down and down,
Traveling down the roots from the base of your spine into the center of the earth.
Really feel your connection to the surface that you're on.
Let yourself be supported fully.
Let your breath transport you deep within the earth.
You're connecting to Mother Earth.
She's welcoming you.
Now with each breath,
Imagine that you're drawing the nutrients and the energy from Mother Earth up through those roots and back into you.
Feel it go first to that place at the base of your spine.
Keep your attention there as the energy concentrates at the base of your spine.
You may start to feel warm.
It may start to tingle there.
You can imagine a red ball.
Imagine the energy glowing red,
Spreading warmth,
Radiating out all through you from the base of your spine with each breath you take.
This is your root chakra,
This place that you are breathing and Mother Earth is feeding.
This is the place of security and safety.
Let it open.
Let it clear and let the energy of love and compassion and unconditional acceptance flow freely through from Mother Earth.
As you breathe,
Think to yourself,
I am safe.
I give myself permission to feel secure.
I am open to unconditional love and acceptance and I feel it now flowing through me.
Just relax and breathe and embrace the sense of safety and security and unconditional love and acceptance.
Allow yourself in this safe,
Secure state.
To think of any of the words or beliefs that you carry that you know are harmful to you.
They may be things that cause you to feel shame or guilt.
They may be unforgiveness that you are holding onto.
They may be thoughts that you are not good enough,
That you don't deserve to be here,
That you are unworthy.
They may be beliefs that you need to be aggressive to succeed or that your voice will never be heard.
They may be the idea that you are a failure or that you are bad.
Allow yourself in this place of safety and security and unconditional love to find that thought and belief that you know is harming you and holding you back.
As you breathe up the positive and loving energy from Mother Earth,
Use her eyes to look upon that thought or belief.
Use her eyes to see who you really are,
The beauty,
The strength,
The kindness and tenderness.
Look with the eyes of compassion and the spirit of love and generosity from Mother Earth.

And with every out breath,
Allow any negativity,
Any shame,
Guilt,
Doubt,
Pain,
And unforgiveness to be released back into the earth.
Let it dissolve.
With every out breath,
Reject your negative belief.
Cast it away.
Release it back to the center of the earth.
Think to yourself.

I am forgiven for any wrongdoing,
Intentional or unintentional.
I ask that forgiveness now,
And I accept.
I love and accept myself completely,
Exactly as I am.
Keep your attention on the base of your spine,
On your place of safety and security,
And think to yourself.

Exactly as I am.
I am loved completely,
Completely,
Completely,
Completely.
I am loved completely,
Completely.
Now take a nice big breath in through your nose,
And out through your nose.
Allow any lingering remnants of guilt,
Pain,
Self-doubt that remain to breathe away.
Let us thank Mother Earth for her generosity,
For her loving spirit,
For her acceptance and grace,
For her powerful energy,
And her willingness to share it with us.
As we draw the roots back up,
Up,
Out from the earth,
We can keep with us any insights and all the love and acceptance,
All the energy and positivity that we gained.
Let your breathing be comfortable and at ease.
Let your attention go to your entire body.
Become aware again.
Become aware of your surroundings.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
