As you lay your head down to sleep,

Just let it rest fully on the pillow.

Sink in.

Feel the softness of the pillow as it supports your head.

Let your whole body just rest on the bed below you.

As you breathe in and out,

Allow your body to just sink even that much further down,

Fully supported.

Ready and willing to sleep.

Whatever day you've had is over.

Whatever worries or stress,

Whatever excitement or joy,

It's all in the day that's passed.

It's time now to just drift into sleep.

Just allow yourself to get in touch with your body and mind as a peaceful,

Safe place.

As you breathe,

Feel all of your muscles loosen and relax.

Any knots or tightness,

Just unwind.

Feel your eyes behind the closed lids just rest in your eye sockets.

They have no work to do anymore.

Feel your jaw just slacken and your tongue rest comfortably in your mouth.

And think to yourself,

I can sleep easily and effortlessly now.

The sound of my voice is not going to disturb you.

It's only going to soothe you even further,

Help you relax even more as you drift easily,

Effortlessly into a deep,

Peaceful sleep.

Breathing in and out.

Relaxing and relaxing,

Allowing the full weight of your body to be fully supported even further by your bed.

Feel your safe refuge for the night.

Letting your mind clear of any doubts or fears or worries.

Knowing that you are cared for by the universe.

Knowing you are filled with love and light.

Knowing you are safe to sleep tonight.

Just relax and breathe as you drift easily and effortlessly into the best sleep.

Into the most peaceful,

Restful sleep.

And as you start to drift into dreams,

Think to yourself,

I know my dreams will be filled with joy.

I know they will help me seek serenity and create happiness in my life.

I know I will only learn positive lessons.

I will allow light and breathe.

As you start to drift even further and further into deeper and deeper sleep,

Just know that you are so safe.

Know that you are so cared for and loved.

Just let yourself drift.

Drift away.

Drift away into a beautiful,

Complete night's sleep.

Leave behind that day of happiness,
