Getting to sleep can be a challenge. This guided meditation, is soft and slow and leads you to a sweet, restful place where you are safe and supported. It talks softly right to the end, when you drift blissfully away.

Find a comfortable spot where you're going to be able to lie down and really rest.

Let your body just sink into this place.

Sink deep into it and feel fully supported.

Let yourself find a comfortable position.

Make sure your feet and your hands are the right temperature and you feel cozy.

And when you're ready,

Just let your eyes close slowly and softly.

And take a nice sweet breath in through your nose.

And out.

Whenever you're ready to take another deep slow breath,

Let yourself do that.

And think of it as an intake of positive,

Warm,

Soothing air flowing all through your body.

Breathe that in nice and slow.

And if you like,

You can imagine with each out breath that you're releasing any negative or distracting thoughts.

Any thoughts keeping you from being fully at ease.

Just let them go on your out breath.

Allow your warm,

Soothing in breath to just circulate all through your body.

Touching every cell.

Soothing every cell.

Letting every cell relax and rest.

And imagine every out breath releasing more and more of any negativity or stress or resistance to sleep.

Just feel your body relax.

Just feel your body relax.

Just a tiny bit more.

Feel it connect with the surface you're on.

Just a tiny bit more.

Know that you are fully supported and safe.

This is a safe place to be.

It's okay to let your guard down here.

You don't need to be watchful now.

Think to yourself,

I am ready to rest.

I'm safe and supported and at ease.

Just notice any places you're still holding yourself tight.

Keeping yourself.

Where are you keeping yourself from rest?

Breathe into that place.

Let go of any fear or doubts.

Breathe into that place.

This is a safe place.

Feel your body relax.

Just a little more.

Feel your mind relax.

Let your breath just be its natural rhythm.

Don't control anything right now.

You have nothing to control.

Nothing to fear.

You are safe and supported.

Let yourself sleep.
