I'm Sophia and thank you for joining Find Your Light Wellness for Moment by Moment,
A four-week meditation series that invites you to come into the awareness of living life in the present.
In life,
There is a constant barrage of activities and experiences that demands our time,
Attention,
And energy.
With this being the case,
It can make one feel like,
Where and how can I carve out time for myself?
Oftentimes,
All the things outside of us get the maximum,
And we give ourselves the bare minimum.
However,
This is changing.
Now more than ever,
People are starting to value the importance of self-care and self-love.
Many are taking their lives back,
Or as Maxine Waters might say,
Reclaiming my time.
Moment by Moment is here to help you do just that,
Reclaim your time,
Moment by moment,
Minute by minute,
Day by day,
Month by month.
Because this is your life,
And it is your birthright to have absolute agency over your time and how you show up for yourself,
Even if it is just for a moment.
So as we begin this meditation,
Allow yourself to settle in,
Get comfortable,
And allow your spirit,
Mind,
And body to reclaim all that it needs and what it wants,
Moment by moment.
Let's begin.
There is nowhere to be,
Nowhere to go,
Just here in this moment.
At this present time,
Bring your awareness to the breath moving through your body.
Become connected with your breath as it enters and leaves.
Notice how the chest rises as you inhale.
Notice the belly as it falls,
Sending the navel into the spine as you exhale.
For the time being,
Stay with the breath and continue to remain present with that feeling.
If memories or expectations start to form,
That's okay.
Bring your attention back to the present moment.
Giving full attention to this moment strengthens your consciousness and overall directs you towards where you desire to be.
As you rest in the space of this moment,
Bring awareness to any sensations in and on the body.
Maybe the heartbeat,
Maybe the feel of your body on the cushion beneath you,
Maybe it's a tingling in the forehead.
It could be a physical pain,
Your stomach rumbling.
Whatever resonates with you,
Allow yourself to be right there.
Now that you're there,
Stay with the feeling you're having at this exact time.
Acknowledge what you feel.
What's there for you?
What is this moment of awareness revealing to you?
As you begin to allow what is revealed to come into your awareness,
Send a cleansing breath into what has been shown.
If nothing is there,
That's okay.
Send the breath down into your root and back up into the top of your head.
As you redirect your attention to the breath,
Notice how it flows through the body.
Breathe into what you feel and allow yourself to let go of any judgment,
Analyzing and simply be with what is in this moment.
If it's possible for you,
Invite gratitude for everything that has been revealed,
Even the things that don't feel good,
Whether it be due to inner or outside circumstances.
Allow a blanket of thanks to come over you.
Know that who you are is valid,
How you feel is valid.
Allow yourself to connect with the signals and the sensations that inform you that your body is alive.
You have permission to feel every emotion,
Every energy that your body reveals to you.
If where you are right now consists of happiness,
Breathe into that space.
This is the reality of your moment.
Where you are right now consists of fear or intimidation,
Breathe into the moment.
Where you are right now consists of exhaustion or depression,
Breathe into that moment.
Relax the body,
Relax the hands,
Relax the jaw.
When you're able to be fully aware of what is present right here,
Right now,
You are conscious of what is going on in and around you.
You are in the moment.
As you are here,
I invite you to repeat the phrase in your mind.
I take life moment by moment,
Minute by minute,
Breath by breath.
One more time,
I take life moment by moment,
Minute by minute,
Breath by breath.
If there is any limiting belief,
Doubt or anxiety,
Repeat the phrase again and allow it to sink down into the core of your chakras,
Your root,
Your solar plexus,
Down into your core.
Allow this phrase to be a foundational part of your existence.
This is an act of self-love,
Self-care,
Self-understanding.
Give yourself back to all the moments that have been stolen or even given away.
Acknowledging what you want to reclaim in this moment will allow you to return home to yourself.
Allow yourself to be brave and connect to what has been missing from your life.
This is the opportunity,
The chance to say the words,
To allow the energy and vibrations that serve your highest good to be a part of your very existence.
Be liberated.
Be free to live in your moment of truth.
Allow inner joy to come from deep inside of you.
Placing your hands over your heart center.
Taking a deep breath of compassion for this moment.
Recognizing that you are fully alive,
Fully whole,
Fully free.
And so it is,
