Let's take a few minutes to simply walk and be aware. A short meditation to do while you enjoy your morning walk, a lunch break, or an evening stroll. Walking is the best way to decompress after a long day, an argument, or just to get out of your head. This mediation will support you in that. Enjoy!

Hi,

I'm Sophia.

Welcome to Find Your Light,

Wellness,

And Beauty.

Today I'm going to lead you through a guided meditation that is for going on a walk.

Every day we walk,

But do we really take a moment to consider our feet that are holding us up,

Our legs that are moving,

Our toes that are necessary for balance.

Everything that would allow you to take a step is vital,

Is important.

And so for the next few minutes we're going to consider what it means to just walk and just experiencing our environment.

And so if you're ready,

Let's begin.

Take the first step.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

Take another step and a breath in and exhale.

Feel your feet on the pavement.

Feel your knees,

Your calves,

Your shoulders,

Your hips,

Your thighs,

Your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your arms,

Your face,

Your head,

Your breath.

And continue to take step after step after step.

Take a breath in and another exhale.

And as you take your next step,

Just begin to bring your awareness into your eyes.

Take a breath in and exhale.

And just gently notice everything that you can see.

The road ahead of you,

Maybe cars,

People,

The sky,

The sun,

The moon.

What is it that you see?

Just notice.

Take a breath in and exhale out.

And now bringing your awareness into your ears.

What do you hear?

What are the sounds around you?

Maybe you hear people talking.

Maybe you hear cars driving by.

Maybe it's completely silent where you are.

Just notice what you hear.

Take a breath in and a breath out.

And now bring your awareness into your nose and notice what you smell.

That's a good place to take a breath in and exhale.

And now bring your awareness into your tongue.

What do you taste?

Maybe you release the tongue from the roof of the mouth,

Soften the jaw,

Wet your throat.

And what do you taste?

And now as you take your next step,

Bring your awareness into the body and notice your body moving,

Walking,

In motion.

How does that feel?

How does that feel right now?

Simply notice any areas of the body that may be holding anything as you take this walk.

Take a breath in and exhale a breath out.

And as you take your next step,

Bring your awareness into the heart and notice how you're doing.

How are you in this moment?

As you're walking along on the sidewalk,

Maybe on a beach,

Maybe through grass,

Just notice how you feel as you allow your body to move.

And as you notice how you're feeling in your body,

Can you offer a gratitude for moving you through life today,

Through this moment,

Whether it's joy,

Whether it's sadness,

Whether it's contentment,

Or maybe you feel nothing.

Can you offer your body this moment,

Your heart,

Thankfulness.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

Continue along on your walk.

And may you enjoy your day.

Until next time,

Live light.
