Hi,

I'm Safiyyah,

Your guide for this morning mindful meditation.

We'll start by lighting a candle.

And as you light the candle,

Move mindfully,

Intentionally,

Taking in every moment.

Watch the fire as it sparks.

Lighting the wick of your candle,

Watch it begin to burn and flicker,

Giving off a warm and illuminating glow that dances on your outer space.

Starting your day with morning meditation is a great way to set the tone for your day.

As you take a comfortable seat in your special place where you are uninterrupted,

Allow the spine to be straight.

Notice how the body feels as you sit and come into contact with the cushion beneath you.

Noticing if there is any discomfort or if the body is at ease.

No judgment,

Just simply notice.

I invite you to offer the body a stretch.

And as you lengthen and expand,

Allow the body to express and move in a way that brings relaxation.

Relief.

Bringing the palms together to touch,

Bring your hands into the center of the chest at the heart space.

And let's begin to offer gratitude for the night of rest and for the new day ahead.

If you didn't sleep well,

That's okay.

Offering gratitude that you are enough in every moment is a beautiful act in this moment of meditation.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Relax.

Take your time.

Allow yourself to take in every moment of this experience with calmness,

Clarity,

And courage.

Allow yourself to be grounded here,

Right where you are,

In this very moment.

And as we begin this meditation,

We'll start with conscious breathing to bring clarity to the mind,

To awaken the body,

And to offer our intention for the day.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Relax.

Bringing the palms to now rest on the knees with the palms facing upward.

Shoulders are relaxed away from the ears.

The jaw is unclenched.

The forehead relaxed.

Fully allow the body room for ease.

Aware of your breath.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale,

Filling up the belly,

Filling up the chest.

And exhale,

Releasing the navel into the spine.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Breathe in.

Hold.

Exhale.

Breathe in.

Hold.

Exhale.

Breathe in.

Hold.

Exhale.

Exhale.

And let's plant the intention,

As we breathe in,

I am mindful in every moment of my life.

And exhale,

I am fully grounded in the present.

Inhale.

Inhale.

I am mindful of my breath.

Exhale.

I am mindful of my body.

Inhale.

I am mindful in every moment of my life.

Exhale.

I am present in the now.

I am mindful in every moment of my life.

I am fully grounded in the present,

In the breath,

In the body,

In the now.

Exhale.

Bringing the awareness to the navel center,

Breathe in,

And repeat to yourself in every moment,

I am fully present.

Present in my breath.

Present in my body.

Present in my now.

Exhale.

Exhale.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

I am mindful in every moment of my life.

I am fully grounded in the present,

In the breath,

In the body,

In the now.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

I move into my day mindfully present of every moment.

Mindful of my time.

Mindful of what I listen to.

Mindful of what I speak.

Mindful of how I move.

Mindful of how I feel.

I am mindfully aware in every moment of my life.

Fully grounded in the present,

In the breath,

In the body,

In the now.

I am mindful in every moment of my life.

Present in my breath.

Present in my body.

Present in my now.

Breathe.

Relax.

In every moment,

I am fully present.

Present in my breath.

Present in my body.

Present in my now.

I am mindful of my time.

Mindful of what I hear.

Mindful of what I say.

Mindful of how I feel.

Mindfully aware.

This is my time.

Time to hear myself.

Time to connect with the known and the unknown forces that see,

Support,

And love me.

That guide me in my experience.

Here is where I cultivate my peace.

Here is where I cultivate my clarity.

Here is where I cultivate my awareness.

I am mindful in every moment of my life.

I know who I am.

I know where I am.

I am grateful for today.

Fully grounded in the present.

In the breath.

In the body.

In the now.

Take a deep breath.

Deep breath into the nose.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

One more time.

Deep breath.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Returning to the natural rhythm of your breathing.

Fully aware of your experience.

Grounded and elevating all at the same time.

I am mindful in every moment.

Present in my breath.

Present in my body.

Present in my now.

Take a moment to continue to be here.

Allow for more expansion in this experience.

Witnessing the breath.

Witnessing the body.

Witnessing the now.

Bringing the hands onto the heart.

Expressing gratitude for this moment of awareness.

Setting the tone for your experience.

Of this day.

Coming back to the intention of I am mindful in every moment of my life at any point during your day.
