Today we are talking about shamanism,
Not as a trend and not as a custom,
But as a spiritual practice you can understand,
Respect and apply in modern life.
If you ever felt deeply connected to nature,
This may land in a different way.
We are going to explore what shamanism is,
What a shaman really means,
Why trance states matter and what shamanic healing can actually do,
Especially soul retrieval,
Energetic harmony and deep integration.
But first we are going to do a small exercise,
Place your hand on heart and inhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
Exhaling 1,
2,
3,
4,
5,
6,
And quietly state,
I choose harmony with myself and the earth.
Shamanism is an energy-based,
Holistic approach that works on the physical,
Mental,
Emotional and spiritual levels by connecting with the spirits of earth.
The core aim is simple,
Harmony with yourself and with the world around you.
And yes,
Shamanism has evolved,
We can honor ancestral roots while also acknowledging contemporary practice.
We are going to focus more on the contemporary shamans than on the indigenous traditions,
But still holding respect for what came before.
I like to state,
The shaman is the healer who works with the spirits of earth.
A shamanic practitioner is someone who can work with the spirits of earth exploring sub-planes often called the lower world,
The middle world and the upper world,
Guided by spirits and benevolent elemental beings,
Distributing energy for the right purpose.
And as a key point,
You don't become this by collecting information.
In shamanism,
There is a sense of a calling as part of stages in the path you referenced.
When it's there,
You tend to feel that everything has consciousness,
Even rocks,
Minerals,
Crystals,
Because everything is interconnected.
So,
What is a shaman really?
You make a point.
I love,
Because it's clear and honest.
Labels are useful for classification,
But the practitioner cares about the work.
And historically,
Shaman means healer.
So,
Shamanic healing is basically like healing,
Healing.
You also draw a strong distinction.
A reiki healer channels universal energy and doesn't necessarily work with the spirits of earth,
So they are not automatically shamanic.
What makes the shamanic part distinct is that earth calls you to work with the elemental energies,
Not only with universal energies.
Your spirit guides message that a true shamanic practitioner becomes honorable,
Kind of like an honorable tree.
This is not a fantasy,
It's more of a symbology of deeply belonging with the earth and deep respect for life and all forms.
So,
If they would account for all the trees of earth and you are a shaman,
You would account for one tree as well.
And then there is another major differentiator.
The shamanic practice often uses trance states,
Commonly with drumming,
And this is to explore these worlds.
You note that a reiki healer may not need trance,
And a psychic medium might access the akashic records without a trance,
But a shamanic practitioner can still access wisdom through the mechanics of trance and journeying,
Even if they are not psychic,
In the classic sense.
You've visited these worlds by drumming while standing,
Meaning you don't need a full body trance,
But you can enter in a semi altered state,
I've been there,
Ok?
And when the calling is real,
The process becomes natural,
You flow into it.
Let's say,
Ok,
But what healing does it exactly do?
Well,
Number one,
It's finding the energetic root of illness.
Western medicine diagnoses and treats physically,
But we are multidimensional.
Shamanic work can explore why disarrive,
Or why it persists even when things look successful.
So healing can begin at the levels that we ignored otherwise.
Then there is soul loss and soul retrieval,
And you know that phrase that people say that day I lost a part of myself.
Well,
You should treat it like literally at a soul level you did.
In trauma,
Fragments can split as a survival mechanism.
The practitioner journeys to retrieve them from the lower world.
Then there is energy wellness and removal.
You can compare this to other energetic modalities and emphasize that the elemental worlds can affect the physical body in a unique way.
Sometimes some blocks are stubborn,
But earth spirit work can start clearing those immediately,
Which is great.
And then integration,
This is one of the strongest points here.
After ceremonies,
Energy needs to settle,
Just like building something in the physical world that will require some settling before continuing to build.
So in here,
The practitioner supports a real reintegration,
Not just a peak experience.
So what benefits could you notice?
More answers to the why in difficult situations.
Release of hidden energy blocks.
Deep tissue energetic healing supporting flow at an even cellular level.
Deep emotional restoration,
Because progress itself creates hope.
And a stronger spiritual alignment,
Which it is essentially for every single soul.
So as a clean conclusion,
Shamanism is a powerful thing because we are physical beings and the earth is our home in this lifetime.
Don't rush it.
Observe the calling.
It's not about curiosity,
It's about whether it feels profound and aligning once you experience it.
So if this episode helped,
Please follow me and leave one-line comment or review with what you felt most drawn to,
Whether it's earth connection,
Soul retrieval,
Trans-journeying or integration.
If you believe this can help anyone,
By all means,
Please pass it on them.
