So just getting comfortable.
Knowing that you can always switch your position.
At any point.
And starting to arrive where you are.
Noticing your breath.
Many of us hold our breath as we go through daily life So seeing if you can just release any holding and just free your breath.
Like a bird that has let out of a cage.
Just freeing your breath.
And enjoying your freedom.
That you're finding moment by moment,
Breath by breath.
And just seeing if you could gently prolong the exhale a little bit.
So when you breathe out,
Just breathe out a little bit longer.
If you like the picture of the bird.
You can think of the out-breath as the flap of the wing.
So when you breathe out a little bit longer,
You're just doing a little bit more of a flap of the wing,
Which gives you a bit more strength.
Makes you rise.
And if we're staying with the bird,
From a bird's eyes perspective,
Just see what's going on within your body right now.
Any areas of tension or ease.
Or in between.
You Maybe again your breath,
Maybe you're noticing you've gone back to holding your breath.
Just being aware,
Bird's eye perspective.
You may also be aware of thoughts.
And you can acknowledge them just as the bird.
Seize the trees,
Seize the houses.
It doesn't ignore all of that.
It sees it,
Acknowledges it.
And then keeps flying.
Remembering the out-breath flap of the wing.
Making you rise.
And then just giving yourself more of a 360 view.
Just see what you can sense.
What are you resting on?
What does that feel like?
Fabric on your skin,
Clothing.
What does that feel like?
As your shoulders are relaxing.
And your jaw softening.
Just sending a couple of gentle breaths into your jaw.
Just allowing it to unclench,
Soften a little.
A lot of our protective parts can quote-unquote,
Live in our jaw and our shoulders.
We're just allowing them.
Giving them the opportunity to soften.
Because right now is a moment of safety.
Not doing anything.
Just being here.
These parts can work so hard to try to keep us safe.
Try to make sure that we're loved,
Appreciated.
So just letting them know that they can rest right now.
Because you're here.
And when I say the words,
You're here,
How does that feel in your body to notice that you're here?
You your grounded self.
You are here.
You're here in this moment,
Breathing.
In contact with surfaces,
Etc.
And you're here.
Just enjoying that feeling.
Knowing that this is not an energy of pushing anything away.
But it's actually an energy that can embrace and hold everything.
The anxiety,
The grief,
Whatever it is,
It can all be held and loved.
By this.
And just feeling that,
Not getting too conceptual.
Just feeling that.
You are here.
So all the parts of you that have worked really really hard because they felt like you were not here.
You can now relax a little bit.
They don't have to go away.
They can just relax a little bit,
Take a break.
And remembering your breath.
Just letting your body soften.
And just listen within.
If there is anything that would like your attention for these last few moments here.
Just anything your inner wisdom wants to tell you,
Anything that would like more of your attention going forward.
I can just speak directly to you now,
As you're here.
And just checking,
Is there anything else?
Maybe some parts of you are a bit dominant and they push other parts out of the way.
So just listen that everyone gets to be heard.
You Like at a family table you've got the dominant siblings and you've got the quiet ones.
We're just checking in,
Is there anything that still wants to be heard?
As you're here.
And then seeing how you want to respond.
As your grounded self,
Anchored in this moment.
Maybe offering some words of reassurance can be good to place a hand on the heart or whatever it is.
And just letting your inner world know that you'll be back.
Keep checking in.
Keep building together,
Keep growing together.
They say that Rome was not built overnight,
So.
.
.
Were also not built overnight.
And then coming back,
Sensing your feet,
Wherever you are.
Just that contact.
Feeling whatever you're resting on.
And slowly coming back into the space.
Knowing that this practice can continue,
Doesn't end when you open your eyes,
It can continue Keep checking in.
Have a beautiful day or night.
Much love.
Soak up these soothing vibes.
