In this guided meditation, we will focus on balancing and aligning this energy center to promote feelings of love, compassion, and emotional well-being. Within this practice, we will step through phases of deep breathing, visualizations, and affirmations. Welcome to this guided meditation to activate the anahata or heart chakra located at the center of your chest.

My name is Eric Schott and it's an honor to have you here today to practice with me.

We will focus on balancing and aligning this energy center to promote feelings of love,

Compassion,

And emotional well-being.

Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down.

I welcome you to close your eyes and take a couple of foundational breaths with me.

Inhaling through the nostrils,

Filling up the belly,

Chest,

And head.

Holding at the top and exhale out with a sigh.

Let's do that again.

Fully in and exhale out.

Imagine a radiant green energy center located at your heart.

Picture this chakra as a spinning wheel of green light radiating love and compassion.

Continue with your slow breaths through the nostrils and slowly exhaling out.

Repeat the following affirmations either silently to love.

I am worthy of love.

I give and receive love freely.

Feel the warmth of these words as you say them,

Allowing them to resonate within you and open to love.

I am worthy of love.

I give and receive love freely.

Visualize a beautiful green light at your heart chakra.

See it as the source of your capacity to love and be loved.

Imagine this light expanding with each breath filling your chest,

Your entire body.

Think about moments in your life where you felt love,

Especially self-love.

Bring these memories to the forefront of your mind.

As you do,

Feel the energy in your heart chakra growing brighter and brighter,

Vibrant.

Take a moment to forgive yourself for any past mistakes or judgments you may be holding on to.

Continuing back to your slow breathing,

Imagine a beam of green radiant light extending out from your heart chakra.

Send this energy outward like a gentle loving embrace.

Send love and compassion to yourself,

To your loved ones,

And to all living beings on earth.

Visualize the world bathed in this healing and loving light.

Visualize a healing green light pouring into your heart chakra.

See it dissolving any blockages or tensions in this area.

Feel a sense of warmth,

Love,

And compassion as this light spreads throughout your chest,

Bringing balance.

I welcome you to take a moment to release any grudges or negative emotions that you may be holding on to.

Picture them as leaves being carried away by a gentle breeze,

Leaving your heart light and returning to the breath through the nostrils,

Filling up the belly,

Chest,

And head,

And exhaling out relaxed.

Reflect on the interconnectedness of all beings.

Realize that we are all part of a greater whole.

Feel this sense of unity and connection with all of humanity and the natural world.

Slowly bringing your awareness back to the present moment,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Bringing gentle movement to the arms and legs.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes to a soft gaze.

Remember that you can return to this meditation whenever you want to open your heart to love,

Compassion,

And forgiveness.
