Hi there beautiful mama,

I was playing on the floor with my baby the other day and here is what came to mind.

I watch my sweet child with awe and a smile.

We play games and I am amazed at how much she has learned in such a short time.

I love to support her and watch her grow.

We communicate without words.

We learn each other's languages.

When she is upset,

I respond with kindness.

I want her to know without a doubt how loved she truly is.

Thank you dear child for reminding me what love is and that the child within me longs for that same gentle care and unconditional love.

We love our children with all our heart.

We do our best to guide them through life so that they may fly out of the nest when they are ready.

Remember that you are amazing,

You are kind and compassionate,

You are strong and confident,

You are love.

You were also a child once and though our bodies have transformed into those of adults,

Our souls are still the same as that of the children we once were.

They still need our care and nurturing.

So just as we take time to care for and love our children,

We also must do the same for ourselves.

Let's take a few moments to breathe and nurture our souls.

Find a comfortable seat and close your eyes.

Take deep but gentle breaths.

You may choose to repeat the following in your mind or out loud.

As we breathe in,

Breathe in I am enough.

Breathe out I am whole.

Breathe in I am calm.

Breathe out I approach life with grace and ease.

Breathe in I am light.

Breathe out I allow myself to shine.

Breathe in I am strong.
