Our bodies are our souls manifested in physical form.
There is a wisdom in your body.
Consider all that your body does for you every moment.
Your body breathes for you.
Your cells are renewing themselves without you having to give it a thought.
Today we are going to tap into our bodies and find relaxation and the wisdom that resides within our physical forms.
You may choose to do this meditation in a seated position or laying down.
Find a position that's comfortable for you and when you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Begin by bringing your attention to your breath.
Feel a sense of relaxation wash over your body.
Feel the weight of your body as it relaxes into the chair,
Bed or floor.
Take a few deep breaths here.
Gently bring your attention to your feet.
Allow yourself to wiggle your toes.
Notice any sensations in your feet.
Allow your feet to relax and fall away from each other.
Next,
Bring your attention to your legs.
Allow the muscles in your calves and thighs to soften and relax.
Next,
Move up towards your hips.
Allow them to relax.
Soften the muscles of your glutes.
Continue to breathe.
Bring your attention to your stomach and allow it to soften.
Take some deep breaths here,
Allowing your belly to expand as you inhale.
And soften as you exhale.
Next,
Notice your hands and fingers.
Are you clenching them?
Allow them to open and relax.
Move your attention up towards your arms and shoulders.
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears.
Notice your neck and throat and allow a quality of softness here.
Feel the length in the back of your neck.
Now bring your attention to your head.
Allow your face to soften.
Continue your jaw muscles and find a softness in the muscles of your forehead.
Feel the energy that flows through your entire body now.
Continue to breathe.
Our bodies have messages for us.
These messages start out as whispers and the longer we push them away,
The louder they get.
If we can allow for a change in our perception,
A shift in our vibration,
We can see our pain and suffering.
Hear the messages in it and allow them to be released.
Can you see the discomfort you're feeling as a message?
Can you allow it to be what it is without adding a story or drama to the situation?
Always allowing yourself to get the professional help you need,
But also doing a little soul searching,
A little self investigation.
Nothing too major required here,
Just a gentle bit of love and attention.
Is there something in your life that could use a shift?
A little more self care and self love.
Something that needs to be addressed,
A loving boundary that needs to be set.
Let's take a moment to be thankful for all that our bodies do for us,
Moment to moment.
Let's take a moment to be thankful for all that our bodies do for us,
Moment to moment.
Let's take a moment to be thankful for all that our bodies do for us,
Moment to moment.
Let's take a moment to be thankful for all that our bodies do for us,
Moment to moment.
Let's take a moment to be thankful for all that our bodies do for us,
Moment to moment.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Beautiful work today,
Friend.
