Welcome to session 11 in developing resilience.
If you are experiencing any debilitating emotions such as anger,
Fear or anxiety,
The first step is to acknowledge it.
This meditation will help you find calm and return to a state of peace.
You could do this meditation either sitting or lying down.
Relaxing here quietly,
I connect with my breath.
I breathe slowly,
Deeply and gently into the diaphragm,
Allowing the breath to flow through my whole body.
I remember that my inner nature is one of peace,
Love and happiness.
I use the breath to connect with my true self.
I breathe in calmness,
I breathe out and let go of any tension.
I breathe in peace and I let go of turmoil.
I breathe in love,
I let go of any resentment.
I breathe in happiness and I let go of any clinging.
My body,
Mind and heart begin to overflow with these lovely feelings.
All forms of tension,
Anger,
Fear and sorrow dissolve away.
At this moment in time,
I feel tranquil and light.
At this moment in time,
I am content and at one with myself.
Now is the time for me.
Now is the time for me to focus on myself,
To care for myself both inside and out.
Now is the time for me to stop doing and start being.
Now is the time to see any pain as a gift,
For it has come as a teacher.
Now is the time to make the most of the time that remains for me.
Now is the time to become the best that I can be.
Now is the time to let go of sorrow,
Tension and pain,
Any guilt,
Blame and shame and be happy again.
Now is the time to let go of the past and prepare for a new future.
Now is the time to reach out with love,
To forgive and if necessary,
Make amends.
Now is the time to be grateful for all the good things that have happened in my life.
Now is the time to reflect on my life and appreciate all that I have given to the world.
Now is the time to give thanks to family and friends,
Work colleagues and others who have supported me in so many different ways over the years.
Now is the time to give thanks for the beauty,
Wonder and sustenance of nature in all its many forms.
Now is the time to develop inner strength,
Courage and faith that everything is as it is meant to be.
Now is the time to reconnect with the divine and receive spiritual sustenance.
Now is the time to smile and shine like a star.
Now is the time to celebrate.
All is well and all will be well.
May this positive energy I am feeling right now reach everyone and everything in our world.
