Many of us turn to poetry in times of grief and heartache, but poetry can be helpful as an everyday practice, too. In this course, you will be guided gently into learning how listening and writing in response to poetry can be a regular ritual that brings about calm and clarity. Each class session includes two poems from an award-winning poet and two timed writing prompts based on her twenty years of work as a writing coach. These are lessons that you can use regularly to bring about your own Poetry Healing.

Her nonfiction book, Earth Joy Writing, published by Ashland Creek Publishing in Oregon, is available for sale at Congaree National Park, where she leads seasonal forest journaling workshops. What a beautifully designed course! Not only I could write to powerful prompts like I "have healed" and "I write because" but had a chance to listen to Cassie Premo Steele's empowering poems, and to feel grateful for my body, and rest in between writing and taking in the poetry. I really really appreciate this Healing Poetry course, Cassie. Thank you! 🙏🏽✍️📖🌟💛💜
