Welcome sweet one.
This is a guided meditation for gratitude.
When we practice being grateful for what we already have in our lives,
We shift from struggle and suffering into ease and peace.
Find a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
Let your spine be long.
Relax the muscles of your face.
Close your eyes.
Take a few sweet deep breaths in through your nose.
Open your mouth,
Exhale.
Gently place one hand on top of the other over your heart.
Breathe into your heart space.
Feel your heartbeat.
Allow the warm healing energy from your hands to create space and softness in your chest.
This is your center of love and gratitude.
Breathe into it and let it go.
You can keep your hands at heart center or maybe relax them down now.
Start to think about all of the things you are grateful for in this moment.
Your breath,
Your home,
Your friends and family,
Fresh clean food and water,
Sunshine,
Whatever comes to mind.
Get a really clear picture of that person,
Of that place,
Of that thing that you're grateful for.
And then whisper or say silently in your mind,
Thank you,
As each of these images comes to mind.
Maybe smiling if that feels good.
Allow this feeling of gratitude to really come into your body more.
Taking a few more deep breaths,
Letting it expand from your heart center.
Let that warm healing loving energy dissolve any lingering tension,
Anxiety or worry.
You are safe,
You are supported and you have so much to be grateful for.
