Welcome to your mental vacation.
You have nothing else to do and nowhere else to be for the next couple of minutes.
Put aside what you need to so you can be here fully.
Relax.
Breathe.
Be here now.
Come to a comfortable position with your spine long but not too rigid.
Take a moment to wiggle your jaw,
Fingers and toes.
Finding out any stagnant energy and then setting into stillness when you're ready.
Feel the support beneath your body and let it hold your weight fully.
Your physical weight and any emotional weight you're carrying with you today.
Turn your awareness now to your breath.
Watching where you feel it most in your body in this moment.
And slowly,
Gently start to invite your breath down towards your belly.
As you breathe in through your nose,
Feel your belly expand.
Breathe out through your mouth and feel your belly collapse.
Deep breath in.
Once again,
Open your mouth,
Let it go.
Let's do that one more time together.
In.
Maybe this time,
Sighing it out,
Make a sound.
Continue to breathe deeply and easily in and out of your nose now if you can.
With every exhale,
Let your body get a little heavier.
Relax your face.
Drop your shoulders away from your ears.
Soften your arms and your fingers.
Soften your belly and your back.
Relax your hips and your legs.
Soften your toes.
Say to yourself silently in your mind,
I am calm and relaxed.
Breathing nice and deeply again into the belly,
Saying to yourself one more time,
I am calm and relaxed.
Bring your awareness now to the center of your forehead.
Physiologically speaking,
This is connected to the pineal gland in the brain,
Which is responsible for melatonin production,
Sleep regulation,
And our ability to handle stress.
And spiritually or energetically speaking,
This space between the eyebrows is associated with a third eye chakra.
This is your center of intuition,
Visualization,
Inner guidance,
And dreaming.
So bringing our awareness to this place on our body allows us to shift into a calmer state and it also allows us to activate the part of ourselves that is able to create reality and emotion,
A feeling that serves us best.
So notice any sensation,
Any feeling in your forehead.
Your eyes might be closed,
You might even shift your internal gaze upward towards the center of the forehead.
Relaxing the space between the eyebrows,
Softening the lines of your forehead and the skin around your eyes,
Breathing deeply in and out.
Visualize an indigo colored ball of light at the center of your forehead.
Watch it swirl clockwise and see if you can feel a slight tingle or buzzing in that space.
Allow this ball of indigo light to slowly expand,
To get bigger and brighter,
Allowing it to project now in front of you.
Watching this indigo light open up,
Get bigger and bigger until it creates a tunnel in front of you,
Somewhere beautiful and safe.
Visualize or imagine yourself stepping into this indigo tunnel now,
Dropping tension in your body with every step you take.
As you walk through this tunnel,
Your body relaxes more and more,
Feeling a sense of peace and comfort wash over you.
Soon you start to see a bright white light opening up at the end of the tunnel.
So you walk towards it.
You allow the light to guide you out of the indigo tunnel and into a dreamy,
Bright green sunny garden.
Take a beautiful deep breath in and a soft breath out.
Smell softly to yourself as you look around this garden,
Seeing beautiful flowers everywhere.
And they're your favorite type of flower,
Favorite color,
Favorite fragrant.
Walk towards these flowers and lovingly touch them with your fingertips.
Smell them.
Hold them in your hands and then continue to explore the garden.
Look at the lush bright trees all around you,
Carrying with them brilliantly colored leaves and branches.
Watch them sway gently in the wind.
Notice the sound of the birds chirping around you and see if you can spot some of them sitting sweetly on the branches of nearby trees.
What do the birds look like?
Maybe you even pick one up and hold it in your hand and pet it softly.
When you're ready,
Keep exploring this beautiful,
Peaceful garden.
Let it be whatever you need it to be.
Let your imagination run wild.
Invite yourself to imagine a small lake or a pond.
Look at the clouds above you.
Keep going.
Keep breathing.
Allow yourself to feel held,
Safe,
And relaxed in this place,
Saying to yourself now silently in your mind,
I am safe and I am held.
Really let those words land in your body.
I am safe and I am held.
Watch your bare feet walk along the dewy grass.
Feel the sensation of the earth beneath your feet,
Maybe between your toes.
Turn your face to the sun and say thank you.
Breathe in the beautiful,
Fresh air.
And then sigh.
When you feel ready,
Slowly turn yourself around and notice the indigo tunnel once again,
Calling you back towards it.
Make your way towards it,
Stepping into it nice and slowly,
Looking back at the beautiful garden one more time,
Knowing that you can return to this safe and peaceful place anytime you want to.
As you walk through the indigo tunnel,
Allow any additional stress or tension in your body to melt away.
See a warm golden light appear before you now.
Just follow it to the other side of the tunnel.
You're stepping out of the tunnel and back into your body right here,
Right now.
When you're ready,
Bring your awareness back to your forehead,
The space between your eyebrows,
Maybe softening,
Buzzing,
Tingling.
Notice sensation there.
Breathe into that space and then breathe out.
Take this opportunity to observe how you feel in this moment mentally,
Physically,
And spiritually,
Knowing that you can always come back to this visualization anytime you need to shift from stress and anxiety into ease and peace.
Thank you for joining me.
Namaste.
