This practice opens with something personal - a few minutes on my own hardest season, when sleep felt like something that happened to other people, and the practices that brought me back. From there we move into the body: gentle somatic touch to wake the vagus nerve, then 4-8 breathing with the long exhale that tells the brain the danger has passed. A heart-centered intention is planted - it is safe to rest - before a progressive body scan softens you layer by layer and a rotation of images carries the mind past its own commentary. The practice closes in a place that needs no effort to reach. Theta and Delta binaural beats play beneath my voice; headphones are recommended.
