
Calming And Grounding Meditation In Nature
Calming guided meditation focusing on a place in nature and channeling in light from the crystalline grid of the Earth and from your true, pure light above your head. This meditation is great for calming your nervous system, relaxation, coming back to your center, and filling the support all around you.

Hello and welcome.
Today we're going to do a guided meditation to help with grounding and centering.
So we're going to focus on one of your favorite places in nature,
And that can be a real place or just in your imagination.
So let's start by taking a couple of deep breaths.
I want you to breathe in through your nose,
Filling your belly up,
And then gently out through your mouth,
Making sure your exhale is longer than your inhale.
We're going to do that again.
So breathe in through your nose,
Filling your belly,
And then an extended exhale through your mouth,
Watching as your nervous system calms down a little bit.
It's that simple act.
So go ahead and get in a comfortable meditative position if you're not already,
Whether that's lying down,
Sitting in a chair with your feet on the ground,
Sitting on the floor,
Or on your mat,
Or on your cushion,
Whatever is most comfortable for you.
And once you get there,
I just want you to arrive.
Arrive in your space.
Before you close your eyes,
Just look around your space.
Notice anything you have on the walls,
Anything that's on the ceiling,
Anything that's on the ground.
And if you're outside,
Notice what you see around you.
Pay attention to what you hear,
Whether it's a bird chirping,
Or whether it's the flicker of a candle,
Whatever you hear in your space.
Let's just arrive here together.
And now I want you to imagine in your mind's eye,
And you can feel free to close your eyes for this part if you'd like.
Or if you close your eyes,
You're tempted to fall asleep or you get too distracted.
You can always practice staring at a candle.
Flicker of the flame can be so powerful to stare out during meditation.
Or you can just gently rest your gaze in front of you.
Whatever way you choose to do it,
I want you to imagine your favorite place in nature.
That may be outside near the ocean,
Or by a lake,
Or a river,
Or a stream.
Or maybe it's in the mountains.
Maybe it's in a cave.
Or maybe it's in a jungle that you tend to go to in your mind.
When you just want to be by yourself,
Just get some time alone.
Maybe it's just in your backyard.
Once you arrive to wherever it is,
I want you to feel your body on the ground.
If you're sitting up with your feet on the ground,
You can feel your feet on the ground in this place in nature.
Or if you're lying down,
You can feel the ground underneath you.
Or you can even imagine,
Regardless of what position you're lying in,
You're standing bare feet on the ground in this beautiful space.
And now I want you to imagine that there are tree roots growing out of your feet deep,
Deep,
Deep into the ground,
And then wrapping around the crystalline grid of the earth,
Centering you,
Holding you,
Balancing you.
You can just let go.
And I want you to take that energy from the earth,
The pure crystalline grid.
Bring it up your feet,
Up your legs,
And bring it up into your heart.
Just feel that energy flowing up your feet,
Up your legs,
Up your pelvis,
Up your stomach,
Into your heart.
And maybe it's dancing.
Maybe it's a green energy and it's dancing around in your heart.
Maybe it's pure white light.
Maybe you can't see an energy and that's okay.
It's still there.
Your intention is all that is needed here.
And now I want you to imagine above your head a bright,
Bright light.
This is your light.
And I want you to imagine that beautiful light coming down and entering into the top of your head,
Flowing down through your third eye,
Through your forehead,
Down your throat,
And into your heart,
Meeting that beautiful energy that came up from the ground.
Let's just sit here for a minute,
Breathing up that energy from the ground,
Breathing in and down the energy from the bright light above your head.
Have them meeting at your heart space.
Maybe they sound like they're dancing or singing or maybe it's just blissful silence.
Whatever you're experiencing is perfect.
Let's take a couple more breaths here,
Breathing up that energy and then breathing the energy down through your head into your heart.
I want you to imagine sending anything that's been heavy on your mind or heavy in your body or any tension that you're feeling.
I want you to breathe into that space.
If it's in your body,
For example,
And maybe you're holding it in your stomach,
Imagine that your stomach is where you can breathe in and out of.
Just breathe into that space wherever you may feel the tension or the pain or the stress.
And then I want you to imagine breathing that tension out,
Down your legs,
Through your feet,
Through your roots,
Down into the earth.
You can recycle anything you don't need.
All of that energy that you're holding,
Send it into the earth that no longer serves you.
And let's keep bringing in that beautiful light from above.
And now let it wash all the way through your body.
Starting at the top of your head,
Going down through your third eye chakra,
Through your forehead,
Down through your throat,
Through your heart,
Using your breath to send the breath and the light down through your body,
Into your solar plexus or your stomach area,
Down to your sacral chakra below your belly button,
Down to your root chakra,
The base of your spine,
All the way down below your feet.
And you're just sending that pure crystal light all the way through your body and into the earth.
Take another breath,
Transmuting that energy into the earth where it can be recycled and used for good.
Then breathing up the beautiful,
Rich nutrients of the soil from the earth into your body,
Meeting that beautiful light from above your head.
And now I want you to just imagine opening your heart,
Allowing it to be fully open,
Imagining that you're loving yourself fully and completely.
Everything you see before you,
You love.
Everything you feel around you,
You love.
The air on your skin,
The bright light and the crystalline grid circulating through your body,
Reminding you that you're alive,
Paying attention to the tingling in your fingers when you pay attention to them or in your feet or the energy you may be flowing,
Breathing it in,
Being thankful for this moment of grounding,
Of returning to the breath,
Of being held by the earth and being filled with your own beautiful,
Bright light,
The nurturing light.
Let's take another breath and let's go ahead and start coming gently back to the room.
There's no need to rush.
Slowly start feeling your feet on the ground or your back on the ground or your legs on the ground and slowly start traveling up your body,
Feeling each aspect of your body all the way up to your head and then when you're ready,
Gently moving your fingers and your toes,
Coming back to the present moment and then opening your eyes,
Putting a gentle smile on your face and thankfulness and appreciation for the time to slow down,
To breathe and relax.
