Hello,
I am Miriam with Energetic Pathway.
And today I'm just gonna lead you through a guided grounding meditation that's particularly good in times when your mind is running in circles or your thoughts or emotions just feel overwhelming.
And in this meditation,
We're gonna start with a little bit of breathing and then we'll go into the guided portion and the whole intention is just to release the things that are no longer serving us,
To come back to our center,
Our center of awareness,
Our deeper knowing,
And allow those things that are plaguing us that are in our mind or that has our body feeling all out of sorts and dysregulated,
We're gonna release those back into the earth where they can be held and recycled and allow ourselves to step back into our fullness,
Our truth.
So as we get started,
Please go ahead if it feels comfortable for you and close your eyes.
And I just want you to feel the surface below you,
Whether that's a chair,
The bed,
The floor,
Wherever it is,
We're just gonna feel that surface,
Paying particular attention to where your body connects and makes contact,
Just allowing our system to know we are here now in the present,
Listening to my voice,
Knowing that energetically you're not alone.
I am here with you,
Helping you in this moment to come closer to center.
And as best as you're able,
Try to remove any judgment about the thoughts or the feelings that you're having,
Putting your awareness behind your eyes or at the center of your forehead and reminding yourself that you are not your feelings.
You are not your thoughts.
You are you,
The one inside of you that's able to access stillness and slowness and presence and a deep knowing that you're okay no matter what's going on around you or even inside of you.
That is who you are.
Tend to set more in alignment in this moment with that truth,
Allowing the thoughts that you have or the emotions that you have to just be observed.
You see them,
You allow them to come up or pass through just like the clouds in the sky.
Take a deep breath in and out,
Making sure when you take your next inhale that you're breathing in enough to fill up your belly.
And then going ahead with your exhale,
If it's possible,
Just allow it to come out of your mouth in a sigh.
Okay.
And take two more gentle breaths in and out.
And all you're gonna focus on is just making sure your exhale is longer than your inhale.
This helps our body and our nervous system know that we are safe.
It starts to regulate our breathing.
It's calming.
And if you're particularly struggling in this moment,
Feel free to go ahead and place one of your arms under the other armpit.
And then the other arm will come and wrap around your other shoulder.
And it's almost like a hug.
You're giving yourself a hug.
And make sure as you're in this posture,
You continue to breathe.
Now I want you to imagine that you're outside in your favorite place in nature.
This can be a real place or an imagined place.
And you can either be standing,
Sitting,
Or lying on the ground.
You're just gonna connect in with that space.
And depending upon the posture you choose,
You're either going to imagine that you have tree roots growing out of the bottoms of your feet or down the base of your spine,
Deep into the earth.
Have those tree roots go out as deep as they need to go,
As wide as they need to go,
In order to start to bring in a feeling of grounding and safety here for you in this present moment.
Have the freedom to take up as much space as possible.
Just continue imagining those tree roots,
The strength of them growing out and down,
Down,
Down,
Into the center of the earth,
Wrapping around the crystalline grid at the center of the earth,
That core,
That unshakable foundation.
And now I want you to bring your attention to the space above your head.
The space above our head is approximately about three inches,
Three or four inches above our head.
There is a bright,
Bright,
Bright white light.
In the Andean shaman tradition that I'm trained in,
That is known as your Wirikocha,
But it's also referred to as your soul star.
It's your personal bright,
Bright white light that is untouchable.
It is filled with wisdom and brilliance and unconditional love and pure light.
And I want you to imagine that that beautiful white light is coming in to the top of your head.
It's just pouring in and it goes down your forehead and down your throat and into your heart.
So imagining the energy center of your heart is like a bowl and you are filling it with this beautiful,
Beautiful,
Beautiful white sparkling light.
It feels warming,
Loving,
And kind.
And while you're having some of your attention stay at your heart,
Place the rest of your attention back at your grounded feet or the base of your spine that has been rooted deeply into the earth.
And imagine that you're bringing a beautiful,
Beautiful,
Bright,
Also glittering or glistening,
Green light up from the earth all the way up your lower body,
Up your torso,
And into your heart.
And you'll just see that beautiful green light coming in to that bowl,
Mixing around with that pure white light.
Alchemy of love,
Of purity,
Of healing,
Of cleansing.
And now I want you to allow the thoughts or the feelings that have been coming up to just come up just a little bit.
And as they do,
You're gonna send them down into your heart where this beautiful energy awaits.
So when a thought comes up,
You're just gonna send it down into your heart.
When a feeling comes up,
You're gonna redirect it into that energy center of your heart.
You're just gonna keep doing that.
When an image comes up that is bothering or troubling to you,
Or is a fear,
Just take it and send it into your heart where this alchemy is happening.
And when that happens,
And we're going to use your next out breath to imagine that all of those thoughts,
All those feelings,
All those fears that are in your heart are gonna travel just like that green light came up from the earth.
It's now gonna travel back down into the earth.
And don't worry,
The earth can hold it.
She can recycle it.
It does not harm her in any way.
And she wants to support you in this way.
So on your next exhale,
Use your breath to exhale,
Exhale,
Exhale that energy out of your body through your feet into the earth.
And then take another deep breath in from above that soul star.
Breathe in that pure white light.
And again,
Breathe out,
Sending all of that energy down,
Down,
Down,
Down into the earth,
Out of your body,
Out of your system.
And one more time,
Inhaling in,
Bringing in the beautiful,
Bright white light,
And then exhaling to send out all that no longer serves you.
And place your awareness back into that beautiful space in nature.
In that space,
Imagine that you open your eyes,
That you get somewhere comfortable where you can look around.
Notice what's around you.
Notice if there are any animals there visiting.
Just placing your hands on the earth and thanking her for holding you.
Thanking her for helping ground you.
Thanking yourself for having the courage to show up for this practice.
And taking a deep breath in and out.
An appreciation and relief.
Knowing that you have made steps back towards your center just by listening to this meditation.
Reminding yourself that you may revisit this at any time that you need,
Even if it means playing it again right now because there's more that needs to be released.
And stay there in the space of grounding this refuge.
And when you're ready in your own time,
You can gently start coming back into your body in the here and now while remembering to ground yourself in the present moment.
And then as you're ready,
And using the grounding tools that you've learned here today to be able to send those roots out whenever you need to,
Wherever you may be,
And to bring in your beautiful,
Pure,
Bright white light from above your head to aid you in your healing journey.
