The full moon is a monthly reminder for spiritual reflection.
At the peak of the moon cycle,
The full moon symbolizes an illumination of what we've been creating in our lives,
Where we've been focusing our attention,
And what we're ready to release or let go of to create the space needed for a fresh start at the next new moon.
You can listen to this guided meditation during any full moon to help connect you to its energy,
Or any other time you feel the need for an energetic release.
Find a seated position with back straight but not stiff,
Get comfy.
Close your eyelids,
Bringing complete awareness to your inner world.
Checking in with you,
How you're doing mentally,
Physically,
Emotionally right now.
No judgement,
Just observation.
Bring your awareness to your breath now.
Feel it become a little deeper,
A little slower.
And on your out breath,
Allow your body to relax completely into the surface beneath you.
Feeling any and all tension in the face,
Jaw,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Hips.
Feeling an inner massage as breath moves in and out of your chest and belly like a soothing,
Warm wave of peace.
On each inhale,
Thinking to yourself,
Eye open.
On each exhale,
Thinking,
Eye release.
Continuing like this for a few moments,
Enjoying the wave of peaceful calm washing over you with every breath.

Imagine now a bright,
Full,
Glowing moon hanging in the sky above you.
Feel its comforting presence,
Becoming a little more connected to its calm,
Peaceful energy with every breath.
As you connect to the peaceful energy of the full moon,
Bring to mind what you need to let go of.
If nothing immediately comes to mind,
You might want to ask the moon what you need to release this lunar cycle.
Breathe and listen.
You may find a specific relationship,
Pattern,
Or limiting belief comes to mind.
Maybe there are several things you need to release right now.
Without judgment,
Simply notice what comes up and hold these things in your awareness for a few moments.
Now imagine that you have these relationships,
Patterns,
Or beliefs just held in the palms of your hands.
You can imagine yourself with your palms in front of you,
Gently holding what you want to let go of.
Take a moment to focus on each thing as if illuminated by the light of the moon,
Just thanking it for the purpose it served in your life,
The lessons you've learned,
And gently turning your awareness over to the next thing.
Once you've acknowledged each thing you're ready or willing to let go of,
Imagine yourself lifting your arms up to the full moon above you,
Offering what you've released to be absorbed easily by the light of the full moon.
If it feels right to you,
You can even do this action in real life,
Cupping your palms and lifting them up towards the sky.
Feeling as the bright,
Calming light of the moon shines down on you,
How does it feel?
Do you notice a difference in your body,
An expansiveness or lightness that wasn't there before?
Simply breathe and notice.
Feel as the healing light of the moon becomes part of you,
Illuminating and bringing light to spaces in your body or energetic body that weren't there before.
Stagnant energy released,
New energy with every breath.
Before we bring this meditation to a close,
Offer a moment of gratitude to the moon for helping you to create the space you're feeling now,
For holding that which needed to be released so you can invite more of what serves you into your life today and every day.
When you're ready,
You can bring your awareness back to your body,
Back to the room you're in.
