Welcome to this energetic cleanse meditation.
Get comfy and cozy for this meditation.
You can do it sitting in a comfortable position or lying down,
The choice is yours.
Simply find a quiet space away from distraction and we'll get started by closing our eyes.
Bringing awareness to your body and your inner world in this moment.
Checking in with yourself like,
Hey self,
How are you?
And without judgment and without trying to change anything,
Take a few moments to notice how you're feeling physically.
Now notice how you're feeling mentally and emotionally.
Again,
Without feeling like you need to change anything,
Just notice.
Now how about energetically?
How are you feeling in your energetic body?
Simply notice.
Now that you've checked in with yourself,
No matter how wonderful or terrible you're feeling in this moment,
Just begin to breathe into the sensations you found.
Maybe that's physical tension,
Maybe mental chatter,
Maybe you're feeling low energy.
Wherever you're at right now,
Simply begin to breathe into those feelings.
Maybe saying yes to what you're feeling.
It's okay that I feel this way.
Welcoming all feelings fully and completely.
Slowly inviting the breath to become a little deeper,
A little fuller,
Expanding the belly like a balloon with each inhale,
And belly deflating and relaxing completely with each exhale.
Continue like this for a few moments.
As you breathe deeply,
It may feel nice to let out a breath or two,
Or a big sigh or a yawn.
Let that just happen naturally for you.
Embracing the release.
Allow your breath to become deeper still,
Breathing all the way down into your pelvis,
Your hips,
The muscles in your legs,
All the way down into the soles of your feet,
Your deepest breaths of the day right here.
We'll begin to scan the body now with our inner awareness,
Beginning with the soles of the feet.
Just breathe and relax the feet.
Soften each and every one of your toes.
Relax your ankles and calves,
Knees,
Thighs.
Breathe into your hips,
Relaxing completely.
Relax the low back,
Mid-back,
Upper back,
Shoulders.
Soften the shoulders completely,
Allowing them to get heavy.
Relax the back of your neck,
Your scalp,
Your forehead,
The muscles around your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Lips,
Jaw,
Unclench your jaw,
Relax your tongue,
Your collarbones,
Both arms,
Letting them get heavy.
Relax your palms,
Softening each and every one of your fingers completely.
Now shift your awareness to your belly.
Relax your belly,
Relax your chest,
Your heart,
Your heart.
Breathe into your heart,
Allowing it to soften here.
Breathe into your heart,
Allowing it to open a little more.
A little more.
Bring your hands to rest gently over your heart now,
As you continue to breathe in and out of your heart,
Allowing its loving energy to begin to permeate the rest of your body now,
Dissolving any energy,
Any tension you're holding onto from the day.
Any stagnant energy that remains,
Becoming a little lighter with each loving breath.
So finding gratitude in your heart now for yourself,
Your strength,
And your gifts for being a source of love in this world.
If it feels right for you,
We'll finish this meditation by taking our hands to the very top of the head and dragging them down the entire body in whatever way feels fluid for you.
All the way down the head,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Chest,
Down the legs,
And off the feet,
Giving the hands a little shake or flick at the bottom,
Like you're clearing anything that you might still be holding on to that you're ready to let go of.
Do this two more times,
Starting at the top of the head,
Dragging the palms down over your body,
Off the feet,
And finishing with a little shake,
Letting the pressure be as light or heavy as feels right for you right now.
And once you're done,
Let your hands just rest easily on the surface beside you,
Feeling the grounding stability of this place,
Feeling totally clear,
Calm,
And centered.
