You can be seated,
Lying down or standing,
Whatever feels right for your energy.
Feel free to move at any time or make sounds as well.
Once you've found a comfortable position,
Starting by just feeling your breath for a moment,
Allowing yourself to release a few exhales and maybe a few sounds with these exhales,
Imagining any excess energy clearing away.
Feeling the energy deep in your low belly,
Perhaps placing your hand here to help you find this space and allowing the breath to flow deep into the low belly.
As you tune into this powerful energetic center,
Noticing what color the energy is here today or choosing a color for this practice.
With each breath,
This energy expands and if you'd like to drawing in some energy from the earth to resource this space,
Some energy of stability,
Steadiness,
Support,
Calling in some energy from the universe into this low belly space.
Energy of mystery and curiosity,
Expansion.
As you continue to breathe into the low belly space,
This energy expands so much that it fills your root chakra deep into the glutes and the pelvis.
Continuing to allow this energy to expand upwards into the belly and the middle back,
Filling the ribcage and the heart center and the upper back and the shoulders.
Your whole torso filled with this life force energy.
Now allowing this energy to flow down into both legs,
Flowing down through both thighs and legs.
Flowing down through both thighs and the backs of the thighs,
Into both knees,
Both shins and the calves,
Ankles,
The tops of your feet,
The bottoms of your feet and all of your toes.
Tracing back up through the legs into the low belly once more.
Breathing into this space for a moment.
Continuing up into the heart center,
Resting here for another breath.
And now we allow this energy to expand outwards through both arms at once.
The upper arms filled with this energy,
The elbows,
Lower arms,
Wrists,
Palms of the hands,
Backs of the hands,
All of your fingers.
Tracing back up through the arms into the heart center once more.
We allow this energy now to flow up into the throat and the back of the neck.
Into the face,
The mouth,
The nose,
The eyes,
The forehead,
The cheeks,
The ears,
Back of the head and the crown of the head.
The whole body filled with this energy.
And now we begin to send this energy out to create a protective shield an energetic bubble,
Your own energy as your protection.
Sending this energy out as much or as little as you would like to.
Perhaps with each breath allowing it to extend a little bit further until it feels right.
Noticing any places that might need reinforcement,
Scanning to check in.
And perhaps stretching out your body,
Expanding a bit into this space that you have cultivated for yourself.
As you expand into your protection,
If you would like to,
Perhaps you call in some support from an ancestor or a guide or just an energy that you want to cultivate.
Could be an element like earth,
Water,
Fire or air.
Allowing yourself to feel a sense of connection.
Imagining this being comes to sit by you.
Perhaps you greet them.
And perhaps between their hands they have some energy.
They lift their hands to shower this energy over the protective shield that you've already been creating,
Adding another layer of protection.

As you turn to your guide,
Perhaps they have a message for you about your protection today.
What would they like you to know about your energy,
Your body,
Your connection to yourself?
Receiving this message.
For a moment,

Any intentions you would like to set for your day or whatever you have coming up.

Knowing that this connection is always available to you.
