Good morning and welcome to this morning’s meditation. This is a morning breath meditation designed to offer you relaxation, alertness, and presence. You'll be using the breath and the power of the Sun as tools to focus our awareness on setting the right tone for the day. Good morning and welcome to this morning's meditation.

This is a morning breath meditation designed to offer you relaxation,

Alertness,

And presence.

We'll be using the breath as a tool to focus awareness on setting the right tone for the day.

Settle into a cross-legged posture facing the direction of the Sun,

Hands open facing upward.

Maintain a straight back with its natural curves.

Sit with your face slightly upturned and allow the focus to shift between the eyebrows.

Check in with the body.

Observe any sensations.

Check in with the mind.

Each thought is a cloud floating away.

Check in with your body.

Avoid impulsive reactions.

The breath is relaxed and natural.

Your breath is a reflection of how you live your life and you're just noticing how it feels to be seated here in this moment.

Silence is the absence of you getting in the way of yourself.

Silence is where the silence is the language of love before we try to translate it with words.

There is boundless freedom and expression within the space of silence.

If you wish to find and harness your power during the day,

Then it's a no-brainer to make at least just a bit of it and ground yourself with calm and positive energy for the upcoming tasks at hand.

First,

You must empty your mind of all the silly things that you have learned that are swimming around in your head.

View yourself within your mind's eye,

Detaching from your identity,

Which is everything that you think you are.

Your clothes,

Your beliefs,

Everything,

And watch the separation occur.

See yourself getting further and further from your identity.

With each inhale,

Space between yourself and your body,

With each exhale,

That space is expanded even further.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

If thoughts come and take your attention,

That's okay.

Just acknowledge that your breath.

Simply choose the breath.

To strengthen your focus,

You can bring in mental cues such as rising,

Falling,

Expanding,

Contracting,

In,

And out.

Whenever you notice that the mind has gotten caught in a web of thoughts,

Choose the breath and feel the goodness coming from the breathing now that you're much,

Much further away from everything you identify with.

You can identify much more with the vast open space all around you.

This space represents everything that you are.

Represents all inclusiveness.

It represents your ignorance and what you do not know.

There is nothing around you now that you know.

You're much closer to something else now.

It's called the cosmos.

Everything that exists is the sun.

And there's the sun that gives life to everything.

Give some praise to the sun for making life possible.

There's the other celestial objects which are also moving so perfectly and helping to play their parts in this space.

Now the mind is a little more empty,

Just noticing,

Observing,

Breathing.

.

Awareness of the breath is sharp and soft.

The breath brings life into us.

We let it go,

Softly,

With a razor-sharp awareness of the mind.

Your experience can be as pleasant as you want it to be here or as troubled as you want it to be.

You can now to take control over your mind and let it tire itself out if it needs to.

When something intrudes on your concentration with the breath,

Just acknowledge and return to the breath.

The lovely fresh air calls the abdomen,

Contracts,

And releases the air while stabilizing the torso.

Mind is empty.

Body is relaxed and moving at your unique rhythm,

A morning hum.

Your emotions are being observed and allowed as it adhesive works into your body.

You mustn't beat yourself up if you're unable to focus for more than a few breath repetitions.

Just be happy that you are sitting here and enjoying something so simple and so momentary as the breath and you're here to improve yourself so it's all good.

You're aware.

That's important.

Now with the sun in front of you,

Feel the light of the sun come in with your breath.

Feel it enter you through your nose and enter your entire body as it's absorbed.

Feel the warmth and the healing effect this light offers you.

Feel anything leave with the exhale.

Anything you want.

You can aid the release with the visual such as smoke or love hearts or whatever you're releasing.

Feel the warmth and the healing effect this light offers you.

Whatever state of being that you are in right now,

Note how it feels and anything else that you notice.

And then let's try and enhance it through literally just allowing ourselves to feel good about what we are doing right now.

We inhale,

The light comes in,

We feel a bit more pleasant.

We exhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and pleasurable.

In this way,

You're connecting all of your energies in the alchemy of your presence,

Creating a clear and powerful presence through focusing yourself in this magnificent relaxation energy.

Inhale,

The light comes in,

We feel a bit more pleasant.

We exhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and more pleasurable.

Inhale,

The light comes in,

We feel a bit more pleasant.

We exhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and more pleasurable.

You are setting a gentle tone for the day as you breathe consciously.

It will aid in your ability to place your pause carefully throughout the day,

Making smart decisions and managing your energies in a way that aligns you with your true nature and life goals and embraces your current state.

Inhale,

The light comes in,

We feel a bit more pleasant.

We exhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and more pleasurable.

Clear and powerful presence coursing through your body,

Bathing yourself in this ecstatic,

Relaxing energy.

Inhale,

The light comes in,

We feel a bit more pleasant.

We exhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and more pleasurable.

Inhale,

The light comes in,

We feel a bit more pleasant.

We exhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and more pleasurable.

Inhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and more pleasurable.

Inhale,

The light goes out,

We feel a bit lighter and more pleasurable.

In bringing this meditation to a close,

Come back.

Take a full awareness of the body.

Gently take your own time and when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

See if you can take this quality of awareness with you into your day,

Into your life.
